Plant Theatre - Three Tier Herb in Natural Hardwood. Ideal Fathers Day Gardeners Gift

Received really quickly good price nice and sturdy herbs look amazing only 3 at present but hope to have more shortly. Nice piece of wood. No instructions came with it took me a few seconds to work it out. Photo attached with the galvanised pots that I also purchased just need to drill holes in the pots for drainage.

I purchased this plant theatre about a month ago. I would prefer to wait a little longer before posting reviews but I noticed that there's not always the option to write a review at a later date - not sure why. Anyway, based on my limited use of this item so far, I would say that I find it to be quite solidly put together and yes, a hardwood so I am anticipating that it will last. It's a little smaller than I imagined from the picture and I would prefer the thickness of the wood to be a little chunkier but perhaps I didn't check the dimensions thoroughly enough, however, my herb pots sit quite nicely on the shelves. My only reservation would be that it might not be a good idea to put ceramic pots on the middle shelf in particular as the shelf is not particularly deep and there is no support behind as there is with the top shelf. The bottom shelf is only an inch or so off the ground so if plant pots toppled over in the breeze then they are less likely to smash on the bottom shelf as they are the middle in my opinion. Having said that, even if they are in plastic, you don't really want your plants toppling over whatever type of pot you have them in.I have a plastic oblong planter on the middle shelf (I think this is less likely to blow over in a strong wind), and individual pots on the other two shelves (4 smallish on one and 3 slightly larger on the other). I have also given this a lick of varnish to protect it against the elements and I would thoroughly recommend doing this as it will stain very quickly in wet conditions and when watering plants in situ and I am hoping that this will also help it to last a bit longer.Overall, I do like this plant theatre and think it's well made although I don't think that the £30 I paid for it (apparently reduced) represents fantastic value for money and I'm pleased I didn't pay the full price for it.

The plant stand arrived already put together and constructed with durable wood. It was delivered without any paint, which I appreciated because some reviews mentioned problems with the color. Instead of applying paint, I personally adore the natural wood grain, so I decided to enhance it by treating the stand with Danish Oil. This treatment beautifully highlights the intricate patterns of the wood grain.

Perfect for my herb garden by the back door .can fit at least 9 herb pots supermarket size over 3 shelves.no assembly required .beautiful sage colour ,looks as good as far more expensive models .quick delivery .Would highly recommend.

This stand goes perfectly with my newly painted shed. I bought the unpainted version as I wanted to paint it to match. It was a great price, and as it’s hardwood I expect it to last a long time!

Nice that you can just unfold it and and use. Well made. Bigger size would be good.

The first arrived broken with screws torn out and holes too big to rescrew them. The screws didn't look damaged and if it was damaged in the post it can't have taken much because there wasn't a scratch on it. I think basically the holes are a bit bigger than is ideal for the screws used which means even a slight knock will rip them out but ten out of ten for customer service as it was quickly replaced.The replacement had a bit of wood slightly too long and had to be forced into it's unfolded position but it did do it without breaking so that's ok. I think this is probably a good seller and a good product design produced by a manufacturer that needs better quality control measures.As another customer points out in the "questions section" the powder blue isn't really powder blue (not like in the photo). It's nice but it's much more grey and it isn't the blue in the photo in any light at all. If you want it for that particular shade of blue you'll have to repaint it.Overall I'd say it's ok and I'm impressed with the response from the company (who sold it rather than made it) to my complaints but I do use Amazon rather than shops for convenience and that means I want things to turn up perfect leaving me nothing else to sort out.CORRECTION - I've just looked at the other colour offered - Sage (French grey) - and realised that that is EXACTLY the colour they've sent and NOT the blue at all. After getting one turn up broken and another sent out both were the wrong colour and the poor person in the "Question and answer section above" who was assured theirs was blue but looked grey in some lights probably had the same WRONG colour sent.This is not on. Two attempts to get it right failed and telling people black is white or rather grey is blue is terrible customer service actually. I was giving this firm the benefit of the doubt but I've changed my mind. Either their boxes are mislabelled, their staff are colorblind or they've run out of the nicest colour and they are being misleading in my opinion. Needless to say I'm not buying the zinc pots to go with it. Goodness knows what would turn up.

Etwas kleiner als erwartet, Farbe ist anders als erwartet. Es ist etwas zwischen beige/gelblich/leicht orange. Es ist lackiert und nicht shabby chic.
