128MB Memory Card for Sony PlayStation 2 PS2 128M Black

I have over 50 PS2 games and bought a PS2 for my grandson as he loved playing on it at my home. He soon used up the smaller memory cards, and asked me for more.Having purchased this for him, he should never need another, so it was a really good buy.PS2 games are ideal for young children, as they have no violence or negative images as in today’s games. It is a shame that it is regarded as a dated machine. I still have mine, together with other games consoles, and am considering buying this memory card myself, as I still use my PS2 for snowboarding games etc. A relatively new game I am buying is Ty 3, the Night of the Quinnan. These adventure games are long and require a lot of memory so it would be practical to get another 128 MB memory card.

This so far has worked faultlessly and made it so much easier than looking for a number of memory cards with its larger capacity.

After using this for a bit and doing some research, I found out how these high capacity cards work, and unfortunately, they come with caveats. It turns out that these high capacity cards are almost always highly compressed to the point of becoming less reliable. Potential side effects of this are higher chances of data corruption, and some games won't register it as a working card. I have had both of these issues happen to me (kingdom hearts 2 refuses to even save to it). So my reccomended action to others, is to get one of these as a backup card, and use the official 8mb for normal use.

I don't think it's the original sony playstation 2 memory card. But Works perfect on my ps2.

This will hold most of my PS2 game saves… so I get to relive my youth.

excellente carte mémoire mais il faut quand même savoir que certain jeux n'autorise pas la sauvegarde sur des carte mémoire non officielle ou de plus de 8mb, manhunt 1 2 par exemple crash lors de la save si la memory card est pas une officielle sony ou plus de 8mb

Normale memory card clone da 128MB utilizzabile senza problemi per i salvataggi dei giochi ps2 e riconosciuta subito come MC da 128MB.Peccato che non abbia il Magic gate (come invece indicato in descrizione) e quindi non possa supportare FMCB. Per il resto nulla da segnalare.
