Walden Farms Syrup Calorie Free Pancake, 12 oz

This pancake syrup is good, very sweet and, as others have said, it has an aftertaste. However for 0 calories it is worth putting up with the aftertaste as it certainly livens up ice cream and i should imagine anything else you care to put it on or in. These products are a big help to anyone who has issues with portion control, as a little of them goes a long way and suppresses the urge to overeat because they are very sweet and do not induce the guilt you might get from eating full fat, high sugar similar products. Well worth trying. Hope you enjoy them and find some that are a real help to you.

As a weight watcher with an occasional sweet tooth, I couldn't wait to try Walden Farms Pancake Syrup. It arrived quickly and was well packed for the post. I made some low carb pancakes, cut up some strawberries and poured this syrup on top. Delicious! Can't believe it's so low in calories, so I can enjoy it guilt-free. I have also bought blueberry flavour which is nice too. Good alternative if you try to keep your calories low, but still enjoy sweet breakfast. Perfect for dieters everywhere. Little bit of saccharine aftertaste but good alternative to use for all desserts when counting calories

This product is exactly what you'd expect it to be - it's zero calories so you have to accept that some taste/satisfaction will have to be sacrificed. You don't get the same experience as you would eating real food - there's no fat/sugar in it so it won't leave you satisfied or craving it. This isn't a miracle solution to eating crap but being skinny. We eat junk food for a reason - the fat/sugar/salt is what makes it delicious. With that in mind, this product is a great way to switch up your food without it getting boring. Eaten out of the bottle it's fairly vile, but when mixed into yogurt, coffee and tea it's actually very good. You could also have it on pancakes so you can at least feel normal if your family are having them. I would compare it to vanilla essence in a way - it doesn't taste good by itself and it doesn't really satisfy your cravings, but it will help other food taste good. Will I order it again? Probably not, but I don't regret trying it and I would recommend that you do too. It's certainly the best of the Walden Farm products.

I'm constantly on a diet and always on the lookout for things I can eat as treats that are lower in fat/calories. I wasn't sure what to expect the first time I used this but it's actually not bad. Mixed into porridge, mixed into quark and plain yogurt, it turns a plain food in a nice sweet dessert. It's not perfect but considering it's zero calories it pretty much ticks all the boxes. It makes me feel less like I'm missing out on desserts now. With fruit mixed in with quark, a mini meringue crumbled in and this drizzled over, even my hubby agrees it makes a nice dessert. Would deffo buy again.

This is an awful, awful product - it has a vile slimy texture and tastes revolting. The aftertaste of synthetic sweetener stays with you for ages (I only tried a tiny drop!). My own fault for not checking the ingredients - sucralose is always going to taste of sucralose and that's just what this does. With a side of artificial maple... I bought this as a (slightly) cheaper alternative to Joseph's sugar free maple which at least used natural flavouring. A big mistake I won't make again. Into the bin it goes

Really good alternative to maple syrup ... tasted just like the McDonalds pancake syrup, just a bit more watery ... not complaining though! Product was sweet, with a good flavour. Perfect drizzled over atkins pancakes! Other reviews mentioned an aftertaste ... think this one had a very, very slight one ... but just similar to a bit too much powdered sweetener ... and only think I noticed it as other reviews mentioned it! Wouldn't hesitate to order again, and order other products in the Walden Farms range.

Tastes like syrup but the consistency was VERY watery, nothing at all like real syrup consistency, I had already been using a sugar free syrup from amazon that I was impressed with but decided to try this one as it had such good reviews. Definatly going back to the previous syrup which had the same grate taste as this one BUT also had real syrup consistency, I wont name the product here as im not trying to diss one product over another.

Taste good but not sure if it healthy

Sabe a sirope, y no tiene calorías. No sé con que lo hacen, pero desde luego cumple con lo que prometen. La única diferencia con el original es el espesor, pero sobre la comida caliente (tortitas de proteinas) o en los batidos ni se nota. Muy buen sabor, no empalaga.

The good: The zero calories really is a WOW factor, and the fact that it taste exactly like pancake syrup is mind boggling. Great for people who are watching their sugar intake/ trying to lose weight. No weird aftertaste either. The bad: IT IS A LITTLE PRICEY for the amount. With the price you could buy double the content with a regular variant. Final Thought: Its definitely worth it for someone who is watching their weight/ sugar intake without feeling any guilt. In my case, I love the idea of it being zero calories and recommend this for its taste. However if you are NOT looking to lose weight or watching your sugar intake, you can skip this for another product as you can get double the amount for the same price.
