Fits medium sized KitchenAid Mixer
Two things!First it fits a medium sized mixing bowel, it doesn’t clip on like I thought it would, but sits atop the bowl.Secondly the seller was amazing. The package apparently lost by Royal Mail and the seller sends a replacement next working day so not to miss Christmas! Great service

As described
After reading many reviews of this not fitting and some being cheap Chinese clones - I was wary of buying it. Also, my model 5KSM125 (that I bought on Amazon) isn't listed as a model it fits and isn't even listed on the KitchenAid web site or any site selling spares - rather worrying! But it has a 4.8l stainless steel bowl so I took a chance. It came in a sturdy Kitchenaid box (so it's a genuine part) and it fits fine. Perfect.

Useless Pouring Shield. Kitchen Aid Mixer
Considering this mixer is considered to be the Rolls Royce in its category, this shield is a disgrace. It is completely useless. It does not fit properly on to the bowl. The mixer itself is very good.The Yekke

Useful accessory.
Made to the same standard as the KitchenAid mixer. Quality item, a useful accessory.

Warped plastic
Shield is designed to sit on a bowl without clipping. I bought it for a K45 series model, which the description said was suitable.When tested on my 4.8L bowl, two of the three clips can rest securely, however the plastic is warped/bent in such a way that one side pops upwards. I initially thought I might have bought the wrong size, but even when trying to rest it on a flat surface, the plastic on my product wasn't flush with the counter-top and one side buckles up. Very poor standard and quite frustrating, given how expensive the shield is. I would return the item but I don't see any guarantee that a replacement won't have the exact same issue.

Works really well
Works really well, the only part of the mixer that needs cleaning is the spindle and under the top part. Really easy to clean and seems quite sturdy (have managed to drop it about three times and so far so good)
