Great overview on the subject
It is a highly referenced comprehensive book on the subject. It will disappoint you if you look for "easy answers", but, instead it shows the current available evidence, which is rather subtle.

The Biomechanics of Back Pain, 3rd Edition
The Biomechanics of Back Pain book is one of the easiest explained structurally and well organized books. The photographs are clear, the light and brightness are perfect.I have never seen a book where I can identify a target or small objective in a photograph, where many intrinsic elements exist. This makes it very easy to distinguish the important points. The sections or cuts are well observed, every muscle, facia and vertebrae are clearly and smart exposed. There are well indicated arrows as well as good split or divided diagram which makes it much easier to follow. It makes everything easier and more sense when someone explain something in a section and you realize the point that the person is indicating and in a clear manner. It is a very meticulous with all the illustrations. This is clearly a piece of work done by professionals in research and in the Field of back pain who see and know the difficulties to appreciate the details in the diagrams and photographs. Good explanation of the concepts and plenty of references. A special and interesting section is that of the injury mechanism, processes, involved which give an insight of the impact caused in the back pain by different forces. This is and up to date and very advanced piece of work with additional information on the website that I would take as an specialization in this field.
