Good quality
I was worried that this paper might be a bit too thin to be ideal but happily this is not the case. While it is very fine (ideal for storage) it is surprisingly strong as well. I haven’t had any trouble with tearing which often happens with bought dressmaking patterns and the grid markings make it easy to line everything up nicely. Very happy.

Dress Making paper.
The seller is fantastic paper is just what I had been looking for. My only fault was it was in a massive box with yards and yards of brown paper. Bins having been emptied are now half full so won’t be room soon. Reason it didn’t get a 5 star rating.

Lovely paper
Arrived in a tube - so was in perfect condition through the post.Paper is lovely and substantial- but is a little hard to trace a pattern through it with the squares printed on it as it’s not greatly transparent. Perfect if you are making your own pattern tho! I had to have a very bright light shining on it to see through it to trace.

Makes Work Easy.
This roll of dressmaker's pattern paper is a generous amount and good value. The paper is squared to it's very easy to line up the grid on the pattern with the grain on the fabric. As the paper is rolled it naturally curls itself back when you unroll it. Pulling it gently over the table edge cures this without hassle. The paper is thinner than I expected. On one hand it is easier to pin to the fabric when cutting out; on the other hand, it gets dog-eared at the corners quite quickly, so I've had to recut some pattern pieces after they have been used four or five times. The paper takes a medium heat iron without damage so it's easy to press out the creases if you fold your patterns. It's a fairly-priced product and it serves my purpose. I would buy it again.

Good quality but print is quite dark
The paper is great quality as dressmaking paper and the graphic is very helpful for measurements. However, the boldness of the lines makes it difficult to see the lines I draw. And when it comes to pattern drafting, pencils are better so I can erase mistakes, or alter lines but it's really only a broader nib pen that's easily visible on this paper. I've tried using it on the reverse and it's still difficult to make out. Other than that, if the lines were a bit fainter, it'd be 5 stars.

I use this for tracing sewing patterns and it's just about thin enough if you have a light surface to work on. The width is good, I've never needed to tape pieces together to fit a pattern piece on. The lines are handy for lining up the grain line, and straight edges. I would suggest getting some fairly thin felt tip pens to use on this. And the roll also lasts a fair while, and pieces traced last considerably longer than tissue paper (obviously depends on how often you're using it), plus you get to preserve your patterns entirely, which is worth the extra work.
