Expensive, but well made.
I always had an Ikea paper measuring tape (1m) in my wallet. I have been using these paper tapes for years and have been fed up trying to fold them back neatly to store them in my wallet. After doing a lot of searching for measuring tape key rings on the web, I decided that this was what I wanted for my birthday a few weeks ago. I chose the blue colour as it should not show marks etc. I keep it with the car key only to minimize scratching. It is very well made and the tape springs back very well. It looks very good and it is about 41 mm in diameter, 12 mm in depth and 1.5 m long. Until now, no noticeable scratching. I am pleased with it.

Useful item ...
Had one of these before, (albeit with a shorter length tape). ... Useful, lightweight and compact enough to have on your keyring. ... Appears well made also.

Quality tape measure.
It is an expensive item compared with other small tape measures available but is well made (in Germany) and durable.It is compact and light too keep in ones pocket at all times. If you need a small handy tape i highly recommend this item.

High quality
This tape measure is much more expensive that the cheaper versions usually made in the far east, but you get what you pay for. When you pull the tape out it locks automatically and pressing a button releases it. Very well made and a joy to use. Highly recommended.

These are great, everyone should have one
I carry this in my messenger bag attached to a small plethora of useful tools: mag lite solitaire, eyeglass screwdriver, spyderco ladybug, and a tritium Krypto-Lite. Great stuff. I am constantly looking at stuff on Amazon and eBay and saying, "13 centimetres? How big is that?" Then I whip out my handy hoechtmass tape measure and figure it out. This little tool has saved me countless times from buying he wrong size item. It is also handy to measure things in stores so you can go home and see if that thing will fit where you think it should go. Super handy and good design. It is sturdy, compact and well made. None of this cheap stuff from China, this is a good German product designed for years of use.

Simple, sturdy, great
Everything works fine, it's 1 and 1/2 m long, seems good quality, made in Germany. Worth the price.
