Helikon-Tex BBC MESH CAP - Polyester

I've only got a couple of mesh baseball caps and needed one for work that didn't have branding across it and this was perfect. Full mesh right around for a nice cool head through summer and standard milspec size Velcro patch on the front for personalisation if needed. First off, people say this cap is for small heads, that's not quite right, its a full size hat by diameter so isn't going to sit well on a child sized head, the issue is that the hat is not at all deep, so the adjustable Velcro band sits on the upper part of the back of your head and does not grip well, so its not for use on a windy day. My photo showing it beside a regular mesh cap explains it better than I can. Other than that construction appears good, the mesh is a corded nylon style, not just pressed out polythene. There is a sweat band on the forehead, seams have been strengthened by patches of Velcro and it states that its made in the great state of Texas (not relevant, but interesting). I highly recommend it if you do not have a pointy head or convertible car, but want to keep cool this summer :) thanks for reading.

Not much to say, it’s a good quality cap. Plenty of venting for warm weather. It fits me well. I recently wore it out on a wild camping trip and was comfy. The velcro patch on the front worked perfectly with my velcro backed Olight Perun mini head torch. Chuffed about that.

Great quality and I love the design, however its too shallow. Feel like it would be blow off with a light gust of wind.

Decent cap, got the hook and loop attachments if you need em for flashes. Comfy and well ventilated

As with all Helicon Tex Kit it is high Standard,so much so it could be used by Military/Police etc and is! High quality Control and excellent Customer Care means I go back to Helikon Tex every time for Work Kit,especially if I want it be tidy enough for Saturday Shopping etc.

Nice quality! But it’s a small fit! I am, admittedly, a big head and this cap is too small. My hat size is 61/62. This sits more in top of my head, and makes it look even bigger than it actually is. Too bad. I’ll gift it for a friend....
