Autobots License Plate Frame

This is a nice, heavy chrome, plated piece of metal with good graphics that are very clear and perfectly positioned. It also comes with two bolts to rubber washer pieces for the two chrome screw cover caps that come with great value.

I ordered this the other day, on a whim. I've wanted a cover for the plate on my 2012 TF Edition Bumblebee and have only found the ones with vinyl lettering. To my surprise, what arrived was not a vinyl lettered plate cover at all, but an actual etched plate cover. It looks great on the car and I absolutely love it! It's exactly what I wanted!!Update: I decided to order a second one of these for my 1970 VW Bug and was disappointed to find that the second did in fact have the vinyl lettering on it in black. I was really hoping for another one like the first one I got. Oh well.Final notes... Well the product is good I can say that both of the ones I have received do not look like the one pictured in the ad and neither of the ones I have received are the same as the other. So, consistency in the product I would say it's an issue.

It looks fantastic on the car, but we had to use it on the front of the car instead of the back- where we wanted it. The bottom of the frame is too wide and does not allow the BMV stickers to be as visible as they legally should be. When we renew the tags in 9 months, we are going to try and place the sticker higher on the plate then and see if we can make this frame work. I have looked all over Amazon but it seems all the transformer holders have the wide bottom....hopefully this will work. If the stickers aren't visible we run the risk of being stopped by police...who needs that! Definitely not my new 16 year old driver!!
