CTEK is the best battery conditioner on the market and these adapters are useful to have around if you have multiple cars .

Seems to do the job - even if it may warn too early. Fits in the power socket in the central console - which in my car is live even when the ignition is off (the cigar lighter is not). If left in when driving can catch on elbow when changing gear or operating parking brake. Makes plugging in the CTEK charger very easy - no lifting the bonnet, removing the cover etc. Unplugging is also quicker and easier!

This product provides an extremely simple but accurate way to monitor charge status of a car battery on a rarely used vehicle without even having to "pop the bonnet" to connect a multi meter. If the battery does need charging, it so very simple to use the "comfort connect" connection from a C Tek charger to connect directly to the device leaving the C Tek charge status lights visible through a window on a seat inside a locked vehicle - genius! There have, sadly, been some negative and ignorant reviews of this product which may needlessly discourage purchase of an otherwise excellent product. Firstly, the need to connect to a permanently live cigarette lighter socket should be obvious - it's not a surprise! Fortunately, the 2 x Skodas within my extended family both have such permanently live sockets and find that this device is so simple to use. Check before buying.! But - even if your car does not have a permanently live socket on dash or centre console - don't give up - check to see if there is a permanently live socket in the boot. Secondly, there are some negative reviews criticizing the voltage value of the Amber/Green threshold. Without wanting to start an online spat, I regard the 12.65V threshold as wholly appropriate for a "fully charged" vs "charge soon" boundary. If your car battery is not above 12.65V it is at least 20-30% discharged and some electric wizardry from a C Tek charger would be beneficial to extend battery life even if not immediately essential to starting the engine. Only downside, £15 is not cheap for what it is, but it could save you hundreds of pounds. Quality has a price.

I had a Porsche boxster that I needed to sell and as is typical the day before a viewing the battery died. The battery is in a front which needs power to open, and all other tricks had failed. I ordered this on Amazon with the charger and it was perfect to plug in and provide enough power to get the front bonet open and allow access to the battery. I then used it to keep the battery in good order until the car actually sold.

I don't know where comfort comes into this at all! It's a charging device with indicator lights. Very useful for its purpose and simple to fit. Seems good quakity if a tad expensive. It is a good product workswell with the CTEK charger

As with all CTEK products this is very easy to use, just plug it into the cigarette lighter and it tells you what state the car battery is in. Plug in the charger lead, via a CTEK extension if necessary, and charge away - so simple, no fiddling with clips on the battery and you can leave the CTEK charger on. It will not work as a charger lead with any other charger make though but still good as an indicator. One Tip: I always drape the charger lead across the steering wheel so that I do not forget to unplug it before driving away!!!

Works well with my charger. Easy to connect to the battery compared with a direct connection.

My broken Porsche branded smart charger came with an attached cig plug, but this plug is better as it comes with indicator lights.

Arrived no fuss, fits into the socket and trickle charges the battery. Does the job as stated - no compromises so 5 stars
