Is this suitable to dip plier jaws in so they have a rubber / plastic layer to protect the thing I am gripping (metal wire) to avoid damaging it.

Hello, many thanks for your enquiry - yes you would need to use Primer first if using on MDF. You would need to either use a soft bristle brush or alternatively, use the aerosol can?

Can this be used on the soles of trianers to fill in the greips to make them flat ?

I don’t think it would work. I used it for a totally different purpose and it did not cover a flat surface at all well. It’s consistency was thin and when dry wasn’t that flexible. It failed to stick to a flat clean solid Matt plastic surface

What’s the difference in colour between blue and flex blue ?
