This shimmer powder is exactly what I expected from the description! Super shiny and so simple to apply! Originally, I heard about this at my salon where I paid a ridiculous amount of money to get the “chrome nail color” which was an additional cost on top of what I already pay for my gel nails. Once I saw how easy it was to apply, I searched amazon and found this product. You can see that you get 2 small pots of the shimmer powder and the application tools. I couldn’t wait to try it! So I applied it over my professionally done nails. It was so quick and easy! I just dipped the applicator into a tiny bit of powder and distributed it over my nails. I used a regular top coat to seal it. There’s no UV light required…Waited for it to dry and that’s it! You do not need to pay Solon prices for this look! Love the product and the price is unbeatable! 5🌟

The only reason for 4 stars was that one came broken, but I assume that is more the delivery's fault and not the maker of the product. It was easy to fix with some alcohol and tlc. Works just as good as all the others.Doesn't give a grainy look like some others I've tried. There is one that pulls silver perfectly for that mirror chrome look.

I tried using the powder on the tacky layer left after curing gel polish and then I realized that you have to put it on top of no-wipe top coat! Thankfully that’s all I use. When I followed the instructions it looked amazing. If you do it wrong it just makes it look like shimmering nail polish. Do it right, and it will give a mirror/chrome look.

I bought this for the glazed look but the powder is too pigmented and covered the polish color. So if you’re looking for the glazed chrome look this powder is not it. It’s pretty just not what I was looking for

If you’re looking for a chrome powder to do the glaze doughnut effect, this will get you close, but not exactly the same quality as tin man can from OPI. These are definitely more opaque and pearlescent. If you’re going for more of a pearl nail these are perfect. I don’t like the packaging, however, it scares me every time that I’m going to throw the powder across the room trying to get it open. if use a very tiny amount you’ll get a similar glaze donut effect.

The media could not be loaded.  I had never used this type of product before. I tried the M9 (white base) over regular nail polish + regular clear top coat and afterwards added another coat of just clear regular polish top coat. It did wear slightly. I then tried using the M1 (gold based) over nude builder gel polish + clear gel top coat and added a clear gel top coat over it, it definitely went on smoother and easier over the gel polishes and stays better with a gel top coat. But it DOES work on regular polish. Very pretty… looks nice over dark or light colours. Would look great for holidays as well. As a beginner I found this incredibly easy to use and apply.

I absolutely love these chromes that give a fabulous effect, especially when I am doing glazed effects on my clients

Really beautiful, small pots of chrome powder, with separate eyeshadow sponges included for each shade. On top of a base colour, I applied and UV cured a no-wipe gel top coat, rubbed in the powder over the top with the eyeshadow sponges, wiped excess from the nail with a lint-free wipe, and then sealed with another layer of top coat. This is definitely the easiest way!
