I bought this 3 Piece Extension Bar Set to accompany: Draper Expert 41451 22-Piece 1/4-Inch Square Drive Double Driver Set It is a really good value set, with each of the three extension bars being manufactured from hardened and tempered vanadium (a hard and non-brittle metal that is stronger than most metals and steels, and has a good resistance to corrosion) that is then chrome-plated and polished giving a lovely finish that is good to handle. The three sizes included are 50mm, 75mm and 150mm in length; they each have a knurled band along the shaft to aid grip if necessary, and they use a spring-loaded ball bearing for holding in place in a ratchet. The extensions are of a good strength whilst being surprisingly light, and I am most impressed with the quality considering the price of under five pounds delivered. The set comes packaged on a plastic clip that can be reused and it is an excellent way to store the tools whilst allowing for quick access. As is standard with Silverline hand tools this extension set has a lifetime guarantee as long as it is registered online via the website within 30 days of purchase. Recommended.

Great tools for awkward places hard to get to.good quality,Easily stored.

Very good set. Got a good weight to them and fit well in the 1/2” wrench. Used them on a VW T5 mainly for changing the oil filter at arms length so joined them all together and taped them up with gaffa tape just in case they tried to escape and it worked fine. Used all lengths doing bits and bobs and they handles it all fine and some stubborn bolts along the way doing a T5 service. For the price you cannot go wrong with these at all, cheap but good quality bits. I didn’t want to pay stupid money just to get to the oil filter because I don’t need much torque but now I’ve got the set I’ve used them quite a bit to make life a bit easier rather than rubbing my knuckles on things that were close. Recommended for the tool box

Superb for my tool collection

Nice choice of lengths and a good weight. The chrome seems of good quality and the extension bars seem very solid and durable. I used the longest length to get a bolt undone from the side of a car battery, worked a treat.

Great quality at a good price.

These were an excellent purchase. Beautifully made and have quality stamped all over them. A little bit more expensive than cheaper ones offered but one can soon see why. The finish is superb, the ball retainers strong and the retaining groove in the socket positive. The packaging is strong if not over done with the robust plastic clips and rail. this was just as well in my case as the cardboard box they came in had a hole ripped in the side in transit and would have allowed them, had they been loose, to have fallen through and lost.
