This steering lock is highly recommended for such application. By adding this steering lock to your car, it will deter potential thief's from targeting your vehicle. If you were really determined, these steering wheel stop locks can be broken into. Although it would take a time and create some noise. Factors that thief's do not like. It is nice and visible in the car and super easy to use. The only negative with this product is that the yellow clamp section might mark your steering wheel, it doesn't have any padded areas. So depending how the lock is placed on your steering wheel it my scratch or mark it. You could place a mini microfiber cloth around the steering wheel and then clamp the lock which should help protect it. Also, it features a flashing LED to aid night vision awareness and is powered by x2 LR44 coin batteries, they don't last very long (around 3 to 4 months). They should improve on this and make the LED flash for at least a year. It's not very cumbersome and easy to remove and place beside you on the passenger foot well before you drive. Other types are pretty large and can be quite inconvenient Apart from that it's a great product and even though its 90s tech, it could just save your car from being stolen.

I've owned one of these for well over 10 years, which proves how reliable they are. The only reason I have bought a replacement is because the lock was becoming difficult to lock into place, so it must have been worn out after many years of use. As I'm getting on a bit, this one may last me a lifetime! :) However, yet again, Amazon have listed an item with incorrect information - if you own a Skoda Fabia 1.2 Hatchback, it is likely that the website will state that it "does not fit" your car. Nonsense! This is the EXACT same model of Stoplock as my previous one, and I have driven a 2005 Skoda Fabia 1.2 Hatchback for 16 years, so I can assure you that it fits that model of car perfectly. Amazon ought to provide a way of reporting incorrect information, as you will lose customers if they can't trust your descriptions.

se ve que es de 1 clase nada de producto chino,en mi mazda encaja perfectamente,funcionamiento facil se abre con la llave donde esta plastico amarillo,se abre en forma de encajas a el volante,recomiendo primero situar barrote ,dispone d eluz roja asi como de precaucion a posibles infractores
