Does this work on non automotive springs, I have a 8inch spring of 2.5 inch diameter, i need to bring down to 5-6 inch?

Ok well these have a pair of hooks top and bottom making them more secure than the old single hook variant. However they have a curve to the hooks to suit the circumference of the coil spring. I rather think that 2.5 inch diameter would be too tight a curve for these.

Does this fit a litre bike rear monoshock?

I wouldn’t have thought so. These are more for car springs.

Previously purchased a sealey coil spring compressor set but they did not sit correctly on my coils. are these suitable for coil diameter of 115mm ?

Yes - I would think that these will be fine so long as you have enough clearance to fit both spring compressors either side of the coil.
