Product Description The finest Greek Kalamata extra virgin olive oil, exclusively selected from the Koroneiki olive from certified PDO mills, this is a fruity oil with grassy tones and a peppery punch and only available in limited quantities. Ideal for salad dressings, grilled fish, white meat, sauces, pasta and vegetables.PDO stands for Protected Designation of Origin. It's a geographical indication, part of the protected geographical status legal framework defined by European Union legislation, and it covers agricultural products and foodstuffs which are produced, processed and prepared in a given geographical area using recognised know-how. The purpose of the law is to protect the reputation of the regional foods and eliminate the unfair competition and misleading of consumers by non-genuine products, which may be of inferior quality or of different flavour. After all the positive reviews I thought I must have gotten a bad (not bad as in gone off but lacking flavour) ...
Very light, almost a cod liver oil subtlety rather than a punchy olive oil.After all the positive reviews I thought I must have gotten a bad (not bad as in gone off but lacking flavour) 2 bottles, so I left my subscription deliver another 2 the next month and they were the same..I think I'll be cancelling my subscription and reverting to Lidl olive oil

nice oil, but I prefer bottles
this is great oil as most expensive greek oils, but I prefer bottles as they are easier to pout from.

Excellent Oil
Very highly reccomended,fantastic quality. I find that buying 2x 500 ml tins while being a more expensive way of purchasing is more ecconomic in use.Olive oil starts to oxidise once opened and by buying and using relative small quantities my total purchase stayes fresher longer.

Just use it.
I love the taste of this oil, using it liberally on salads, rice, pasta, in fact on most anything. Use it as a dip for crusty bread with a little salt and oregano.Delicious and healthy.

Smooth fine commercial-kitchen quality olive oil
Very smooth, very pleasant and excellent for use in salads, or drizzled over pasta.I note another reviewer got 2 year old oil - I didn't. My 2 were this year's batch, and were every bit as fresh as expected.

Great taste but the container drip really badly. The rectangular cans are much better.
