Good quality brush, loses a few hairs initially but after that it's fine. Great a foaming shaving cream for a comfortable and close shave with minimal irritation. Brush seems to be hold up well and just needs rinsing and hanging upside down to dry.

Great brush, If I required another brush I think I'd have no problem in looking up Edwin Jagger, it does (like any) take a little breaking in but that's no big deal. Also I can't say I had many loose hairs, or perhaps I was just lucky. I've read other comments else where not particularly about the Edwin Jagger range but badger hair per se seems to smell of "animal" or "dog" whatever! I couldn't smell anything from the Edwin Jagger brush whatsoever. Also it's a great brush for lathering up (sorry I wouldn't know about gel as I don't use gel) however with both cream and soap it's really good.

Smells. Really smells quite bad when you use it for the first few times but then the smell fades and then it's ok 👍Great brush. Great quality.
