Great little pad - bujo templates, calligraphy practice and more
I purchased this pad for practicing modern calligraphy in. I have also started a bullet journal (bujo) and wanted to practice page layouts before commiting to using them in my actual journal which has the same size dot paper in it.This pad is A5 with mid grey dots at 5mms. There's perforation across the top of each sheet which makes it easy to tear pages out and keeps things neat. The pad itself has a paper cover and cardboard back, and is stapled across the top above the perforations. The paper is bright white and really smooth. I have used brush pens, ink pens and biros on the paper and all write beautifully without bleeding or going through to the other side or next sheet (you could write on both sides of one sheet with a brush pen and both sides wouldn't show the ink from the other side).I am really really pleased with my purchase and will be repurchasing again when this runs out. Although as I see it 190 sides (80 sheets, 2 sides each) should last me a while.Great little pad.

Great quality product
You can do alot with this paper. You can use fountain pens and the ink won't bleed through or shadow onto the other side. I have glued things to this paper and glued the paper to other notebooks and it doesn't wrinkle or warp excessively. I have painted ink and watercolour paint onto the pages and the page has stood up to it very well. I would definitely recommend this notebook to anyone who would listen 😁

Fantastic paper!
Fantastic, great that it's easy to open the cover and fold it into place, looks very neat!Use this to write notes for work etc using a fountain pen, no complaints at all.Paper quality is great and ink dries very quickly. The dots are very faint too so doesn't get in the way.You can easily tear pages out as well.Very impressed!

Super paper. Great for fountain pen and ballpoint ink. Very versatile.
Very high quality paper and the handy A5 size is really portable.Good binding and fine perforations mean that the pad doesn't suffer from fly-away pages or uneven tearing when you want to detach a page. The paper quality is excellent and the light dots mean that reading from and writing on the pages is a relaxed experience.Highly recommended.

Great for brush pens
This was my first Rhodia pad - I bought it to practice hand lettering with brush pens as I was told that the paper is very good and prevents the brushes from fraying. So far it's been really good. The one gripe I have with it is that the whole pad is somewhat warped - if I take a page out it is perfectly flat and smooth, but the pad looks like it buckled, maybe from moisture in the hard backing? Due to this I have to remove the paper from the pad before using it - bit inconvenient but the quality of the paper makes up for it (since I use it for practice only I don't mind).

They don't come better than this for standard(ish) notepads.
What can I say? It's a Rhodia A5 Dot Pad! Rhodia/Clairefontaine produce some of the best paper around for notepads, especially if you're a fountain pen user. The paper doesn't bleed, the ink never soaks through to the next page and there's very little ghosting, allowing you to write on both sides of the paper. The dots are fantastic, as they give you both a horizontal and vertical guide but without being overbearing, like grid paper can sometimes be. It's enough of a guide but not a distraction. If all you're used to is a Staples bog standard notepad, I STRONGLY suggest that you pick up one of these. They're a little more expensive but a thousand times better.

Good notepad
Cheap fitted notepad ideal for sketches. Paper is good quality and takes most ink well, some bleed through with markers. Only stapled together, which in my opinion isn’t great and leaves poor finish to sketch if torn off, but also doesn’t look great when left together compared to bound options with tear strips. But for the money a nice little notepad

This is really excellent quality paper - high grade vellum paper - which is fountain pen connoisseurs test paper of choice. I hvae tested it myself with a Pilot Custom 74 SFM nib using Iroshizuku ink and this wet nib just glides over the paper. Ditto with a Visconti HS Bronze Age medium nib with Iroshizuku Ama-Iro ink. Works exceptionally well with a range of inks and pens. I highly recommend this paper; it is a pleasure to use and would readily use as a letter writing pad.
