SanDiskUltra 64 GB Dual Type-C USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Silver

This is a good storage device, which is designed to be compatible with laptops that have both USB A and USB C and other devices with USB C ports such as phones and tablets.It works well and 64GB is a good size for transferring files around, I found it particularly useful when transferring drivers to my new laptop, which only has two USB C ports. The slider, which pushes out the connections is quite strong and as long as you don’t use too much force I see no reason why it shouldn’t last the lifespan of the device.The read and write speeds are good, not as fast as my other storage device (Corsair Voyager, USB3, 128GB) but adequate.I only have a slight issue with the USB C side of the storage device. When you insert it into a USB C port it doesn’t click. So you’re not sure that you have inserted it properly. You probably have and whatever you do don’t apply too much force as you might break your USB C port (luckily mine is ok).No other issues. Really appreciate that they took the time to create a device like this, also works with my iPad Air 4th Generation.

Perfect for storing photos, videos, personal information. So easy to use and store

I got this because I needed a USB key that I could use to easily transport files between my MacBook (USB-C) and my desktop (USB-A) without keep needing to find adapter plugs for either one or the other machine. This suits my purpose perfectly, although it does have a serious design flaw.But the USB-C and USB-A connectors are retracted inside the key's casing and a small black slider allows you to slide out whichever connecter you need. It does lock in place when you hold it in your hand, but these connectors are a VERY snug fit in the sockets (not a bad thing usually. However even when making sure my fingers are nowhere near the slider, trying to plug them in causes the catch to release and the plug disappears back inside the casing. The only way I can plug it in is to put my thumbnail behind the slider and forcibly hold it in place.Other than that, it's a great key, decent speed and does what I want.

Incredibly useful for making the move to USB-C. Fast speeds and seems sturdy and well built. I also love the low price and think it is truly amazing it is offered this cheapOnly thing that worries me is it gets kinda warm when used on thunderbolt 3 ports (so new MacBook pros) but this has caused no issues and isn't too hot to touch or anything. also kinda small so could get lost (but that goes for all usb sticks anyway)

I bought this as I work in IT and needed something that could transfer files between many different kinds of machine with minimum fuss and no dongles!- The stick feels well built, there’s a button that slides a mechanism and locks the USB A or USB C end into place. The click is very postive on the USB A end but a little mushy on the USB C end, but that might just be my unit in particular. It still locks into place well, it’s just not always easy to tell if it’s locked in because the click isn’t very positive.- File transfers are very quick and frustration free, anything from small documents to large movies are swift enough that you don’t have to leave and come back when they’re finished.- Value is great, it’s hard to believe a USB with this much utility and 64GB(!!!) of storage can be had so cheap!- Overall this little thing is great. I wish it had slightly higher build quality, with a stronger click and maybe a metal enclosure, but that would inevitably drive the price up and you really can’t fault the value at this price

Worked for what I wanted to use for. Wanted to download a playstation 5 update so I could reboot it. Saved having to get laptop out.

Now the interesting part is that in USB-A port the write speed is ~14% higher than in USB-C port: 30MB/s vs 26MB/s. See the attached photos.In Windows Explorer file copy test I got the same measurements.Then I tested the speed connected to an Android phone (Xiaomi Mi 10T Pro) via USB-C.Read speed: 34MB/sWrite speed: 17MB/sTest file size 3.6GBThe memory stick doesn't get very hot but it gets warm when operated which is normal.I'm not sure how long the sliding & locking mechanism is going to hold up but I will update my review if something worth mentioning should happen.5 STARS from me at the moment!Pros:- Universal, multiple ports- Good read speed, just as advertised- PriceCons:- Slow write speed but what do you expect for £11? :)
