FSL Decimate Safety Earmuff/Ear Defender for Shooting, Drumming, DIY, Studying, Construction - NRR 34 dB - 3 Year Warranty

I've had a few crappy pairs of cheap ear defenders before, but these feel really solid, are comfy to wear (they are pretty tight so you wouldn't want to wear them for hours on end, but i am using them while sawing timber so it's fine for me) and they cut out a ton of sound.

Bought for drum playing daughter - she says these are great, take the noise down just enough and comfy to wear. I did wear them overnight recently due to spousal snoring episode and agree they were comfy and took the edge off the rumblings on the opposite side of the bed!

After doing a lot of research reading reviews and product descriptions I decided to go with these. The number of 5* reviews was quite impressive, with only a few negative comments, some of which were from reviewers using the product for things other than it was strictly designed for. Nothing wrong with that, but you have to take comments from people with an open view.The earmuffs are well designed and are quite sturdy. They do fold up into the headband, which is a particular bonus and make storing and transporting in a bag/box a lot easier than ones that don't.The headband is quite firm, in that it does add a reasonable amount of pressure to your ears.In essence, this must be due to the manufacturers being able to claim a low noise level transmitted to your ears - something they make a lot of in their product claims. This is not necessarily a bad thing, and depends on the ambient noise levels you are buying them for. Perfect for construction environments, or even home DIY using petrol/electric machinery (garden mowers/strimmers/chainsaws or drills/power tools etc). Perhaps not so ideal for sleeping in though.The downside is that they are not perhaps as comfortable as other brands I have used.The other unavoidable issue is that your ears will sweat and after 30 minutes of using them my ears were hot.However, the thick plastic covered foam padding was ok. Reasonably comfortable with prolonged use, a big bugbear with other cheaper earmuffs I have used.

Bought for use in a noisy open-plan office. For this purpose it's pretty much useless. It's good at reducing sustained low-frequency noise (e.g. from the street) and slightly muffles conversations, but does not make them any less distracting. Moreover, it clamps down rather hard around your head so you won't be wearing it for long periods of time unless you are doing some sort of physical activity.

Quality ear defenders at the right price, with fast delivery included.A little tight to start with, but as I'm moving around and bending over etc they don't fall/slip which is exactly what I need. Working in a noisy environment for 6+ hrs a night, I soon got used to them and much prefer them to the cheap company issued set we were given.Happy Customer.

The service from the seller was fast and the product is exactly as described and I wanted. I find them very effective when shooting live ammunition on a target range with several others shooting at the same time. They fact they fold up to take less room in my rifle bag is very useful as well. I will certainly use this company again.

Good value for money with great sound deadening, the sprung fit is quite strong so not sure how this will feel after prolonged use,Bought for Monsterjam in September!!!Update for the 2 hour Monster truck show we attended and bought these for, these were a lifesaver, families with no ear protection had screaming kids with many leaving, great noise protection and had no complaints about the snug fit which obviously did the job.

Bought these for firework season as i am deafened by the dog barking for hours on end,they dulled the noise a bit but were so uncomfortable bordering on slightly painfull that i couldnt keep them on,they are so tight and uncomfortable,if you are an adult i wouldn'trecommend unless you have a very small head,dissappointing.

Ho provato le cuffie, ma non hanno soddisfatto le mie aspettative perché i rumori si sentono, anche quelli più leggeri, e dopo poco mi hanno subito dato fastidio alle orecchie.

Non funziona bene. I rumori li sento. Ma forse sono io che ho l'udito molto molto sensibile. Non ho capito.

Ho comprato queste cuffie per studiare, mentre altri guardano la tv....il risultato è deludende.La tv si sente comunque, nonostante il livello basso di volume.La cuffia è comoda, ma se la si prende per insonorizzarsi per lo studio, come scritto nelle indicazioni di possibile utilizzo, è praticamente inutile..

Questo modello di cuffie antirumore sono la versione “head-friendly” delle similari  FSL Gunblock , in quanto, a parità di tutto il resto, dispongono di una comoda imbottitura nell’archetto.Il resto è praticamente simile, e vale tutto quanto dissi per l’altro modello.Ovvero, riduzione del rumore accettabile (ma non soppressione completa), forte aderenza alla testa, plastica di discreta qualità e apparentemente robusta, estensione ridotta (ma sufficiente) e presente non nell’archetto ma nei padiglioni, spessa imbottitura a contatto con l’orecchio e scarsa impermeabilità ai liquidi (meglio non usarla sotto la pioggia).Anche per questa manca una busta di trasporto e la scatola è spartana a dir poco.Diciamo che finché il prezzo si mantiene sotto i 20 euro, è un prodotto che va bene per situazioni “rumorose”, come taglio erba, aspirapolvere, compressore, ecc.Non tenetele su troppo tempo però; la piuttosto forte compressione potrebbe procurarvi qualche mal di testa… FSL Gunblock

Qualità zero. Prezzo basso. A mio parere non sono granché comode e assolutamente non insonorizzano. Pensavo di tenerle a studiare ma oltre s non insonorizzare dopo poco fa male anche la testa perché stringono. Se stringessere perché funzionassero molto posso capire ma così no. Peccato 👎🏻
