No, not designed to lock in a sliding panel on a glass door

Is one lock sufficient for one sliding window?

Yes one lock is sufficient. For me and mine sufficient isn’t good enough, I put on the bottom and one on the top, don’t make anything easier for the bad guys. Good luck.
