I was a bit disappointed with this beard. For a start, I couldn't put it on properly. It has little loops of elastic either side, which are supposed to go over your ears to hold it in place, but these just didn't work for me. This might be because my ears stick out a bit, but even if they didn't, I can't imagine this feeling secure. I also found the beard rather uncomfortable and itchy - it needed to be 'stroked' into place a few times to settle it down and stop the top bits sticking into my eyes! It also shed fur onto my clothes. However, with some elastic sewn onto it to make it fit over my head, and a bit of practice wearing it and getting used to it, it's doing the job!! I only need it for a short play anyway. And it's pretty good value for the price.

There was elastic that goes around the ears to hold the beard in place. This was much too short and made it uncomfortably tight against his face. My male friend does not have a large head or face.As it was needed the next day, we added more cord to make it a comfortable fit.The beard itself was very effective and full.

bought it for my 5year old as he wanted to dress up as Mr Twit on Roald Dahl's birthday. what can you say its a false beard with loops that go around your lug holes. It was cheap enough and looked fine so if you want to look like a beardy man ....or woman I'd recommend this.

A huge and relatively realistic tramp-like beard. Only drawback was that the elastic was far too short and I had to add to it.It arrived very quickly indeed, so if you need a huge beard in a hurry, this is for you!

This beard looks great, it is a bit scratchy to wear but I imigine that real beards are too. I had to add and elastic loop around the head as the ear loops were pretty useless. It looked great though.

I ordered this for stream a I'm doing a "I am the bearer lady" community challeng, so I was looking for something inexpensive as I would likely whare I once. It only had one band to go around the ear and that was placed at the nose area.......... I'm going to have to make something so it will stay attached as I can't get out the house to send it back. Also it dose not look like the picture either. Do not waist your money.

Elastic loops slip off my ears so I've had to use the strap from my swimming goggles. To be fair I do have very small ears. Beard definitely looks fantastic, I had to trim some of the moustache to keep it out of my eyes though.

Hurts your ears like hell so currently wearing as a chest piece.
