The Last of Us (PS3)

Played a bit of it & no problems so far.

Best game I've played in years. Everything about this game is fantastic. This game simply does not have any weak points.Game play: Pitched at just the right level. This game balances in gameplay, controls, weapon upgrades and puzzles perfectly.Graphics: Spot on. From the densely populated urban environments to the sparse wilderness. Everything is visually stunning. StunningStory: Again, brilliant. This post apocalyptic story brings real humanity and moral dilemmas together with the chemistry of the main characters.

A great buy! As an avid gamer, hubby was challenged and thus, extremely pleased.He is thoroughly impressed with the storyline, the graphics and the challenge the variety of ventures the game offers. A happy husband=happy wife! :D

A very good game, which was reasonably priced. I was worried when the game arrived, as the language on the case was primarily in what looked like Greek, with secondary English text, but when you load the disc, you select your language, and the game is 100% played in English, complete with subtitles. If you enjoyed the Resident Evil series, you will really enjoy this game. The graphics are lush and detailed, the storyline has an epic, film-like feel, and the transition between gameplay, to animated scenes is seamless, and quite beautiful. I completed the game at 'normal' difficulty in appx 24hrs of play. Initially, the player will really feel that they have been thrown in at the deep end, as the controls take a bit of getting used to, and weapons are entirely free-aim. After a few levels, you begin to realise that the greatest weapon is the use of stealth, and it is not strictly necessary to kill all foes. I don't really want to give too many spoilers, but essentially, you are battling as the duo of Joel & Ellie against a mix of 'infected' and rival survivors. Of course, along the way you meet various characters who will either be trying to kill you, or survive alongside you. I will probably take another crack at storymode at a higher difficulty, if only to enjoy the very notable effort that has been put into production, and animation of the game. At present, I am getting to grips with the online multiplayer 'factions'. Like the game, it will take a few hours of 'Factions' to become competent, and you will be guaranteed to stink at this element of gameplay when pitted against experienced online players. A very important note to make is that I experienced connection issues when attempting to play online. A little homework revealed a recent update created a small glitch when connecting to online play, and this is a widespread problem. Solution: As the connection bar reaches halfway, press the center PS button, wait a few moments, then press again. Do this until a message pops up telling you that the Facebook component is no longer available, then press circle, and your online connection should load fully. You will then be able to play a variety of 4-aside deathmatches, which are set in various levels of the game: The beach, Downtown etc. It is tough, but very playable- I have all but given up on GTAV, as it has been ruined with spam DMs, and modders. This game is a refreshing, and challenging alternative.

This game is amazing!!!! It is a zombie game but the humans are worse than the zombies, apart from the bloaters they are horrid!! Brilliant game, great story, great characters

Not talking about the game itself as it’s incredible and I have nothing else to say on it.The case was not at all a “like new” product and was in a clearly very used state. No scratches on the disc at all but the case had lots of marks on it with the actual cover having a beaten look. Overall for £8 not too bad and what you’re paying for.

When I received the game it didn't even work, the picture was perfect but there was no sound at all other than an awful static noise and its not my PS3 because everything else works perfectly fine

Enjoyed playing this. As I'm an inexperienced player, the 'easy mode' was helpful. You need to make sure to read the online game guide available (too late for me) to make sure you take full advantage of finding all resources, trophies and upgrades. This will give you the best chance of survival. I will play this again one day in 'normal mode'.
