If I can only use 1 pedal this is it!
I wanted that classic muff sound and spent some time choosing between this and a nano bass muff and I'm glad that I chose this one. This is THE fuzz pedal to have rich, warm and very flexible. It has so much a DI and clean parallel out for a tuner or other effects/amp.The crossover only effects the sound when the fuzz is on but sounds great gives a tone similar to an envelope filter without the variation - this I really love and I own several filters.I can't help smiling every time I kick this on. It's built like a tank and sounds great.I also can help playing the intro to 'Form whom the bells toll' when this is paired with my Wah.

No regrets.
This is a really nice pedal with lots of utility. Well built, not too big and robust enough withstand a few knocks. If you're playing rock or metal songs having some extra distortion under your feet is really useful. The blend, tone and sustain controls give a wide range of distortion types and you can really shape the sound to your specific requirements, Having the gate built in is also handy - you can cut out unwanted hum between songs hands free.I haven't really explored the cross over filters yet, but I'm confident I'll find a use for this feature at some point.

This is the best pedal for bass
Don't bother with cheaper versions - you'll end up buying this. It is totally brilliant and changed my bass sound

Arrived with a busted Knob (Low pass filter) but it sounded great, sent it off for a refund and i'll be ordering a new one during that time

one muff to rule them all.
this one pedal has everything a bassist needs to get some seriously heavy stuff going, combine it with the right amp and prepare to never want to leave the practice room!so many nice features that make this pedal worth splashing out on over any of the others. for a start it has the DI out for the sound guy to work with, it also has a bypassed out so you can route your clean sound through other effects or into a seperate amp. it's insanely great at retaining low end and cutting through the mix at gigs, better than any other fuzz i've tried on bass. the crossover function gives you the ability to dial in a frequency boost to really drive home the exact tone you want. having the blend option is essential for any bass fuzz so you don't lose your chest shattering low end. the -10db cut switch is great for either passive/active basses also serves as a nice extra fuzz boost if you run an active bass and leave it set to 0db.other bass fuzz pedals take note, this is how it's done!

Makes everything sound like the 70's and that's a good thing.
The tone from this pedal is fantastic, it gives everything from an authentic 70's fuzz to an aggressive, snarling bass sound. The crossover, low pass filter and the blend functions mean you can retain the bottom end whilst adding crunch. I managed to get every tone I needed for a recent gig from this pedal, it has now replaced my faithful Boss Bass Overdrive and the DI alone is worth the £66 I paid.

Great distortion!
Nice bass distortion, you just have to understand how to get the sound you are looking for from the pedal as there are no presets. Don't just turn everything up full! The more you play with it, the more you'll love it.

Big Duff
A lot of people rave about these pedals. OK, they're quite well built and the deluxe has far more control than the basic Big Muff. The bottom line is you have to love the ONE sound that you can achieve from this pedal. Yes, you can adjust the sustain but realistically, how often are you, as the bass player, going to get the aural space to let your bass sustain for a decade? Be careful using the crossover as it conflicts with other pedals and, in particular, it competes with your pre-amp, compressor and/or DI box. The pedal is fine on its own and you love the one tone sound but as part of a pedalboard or you want variation...forget it!

Must have
Classic and controllable fuzz tones. The Noise Gate is a blessing. Im running it at the number 4 spot in my chain. Equalizer/PreAmp-Compressor-Octive-BigMuff/Fuzz-Overdrive.

Excelente!
Justo el sonido que quería! Gordo, rasposo pero sin perder la claridad de los bajos. Una joya.
