ZinsserWatertite 5 Litre

Just applied on the outside wall. The texture feels a quality product, very thick so be prepared for good old elbow grease to paint on. Don’t think a roller would do it but I’m not a professional painter. It feels thick enough that 1 coat may be sufficient. Highly recommended.

I used this product in a cupboard that has had damp and condensation problems. It covered the walls well using a brush and after two coats the cupboard is usable once more. Best of all, the awful damp smell has gone. It may look expensive for one tin of paint but it goes a long way and covers well.I would recommend Zinsser products to anyone after previously using them and always getting great results.

Did lots of research before buying this paint to seal the walls of my cellar. Yes, its expensive, but its now 6 months since I applied it and through a very wet winter I still have a dry cellar for the first time in 30 years. It is hard work to apply - there's no denying that, as its very thick and gloopy, but if you follow the instructions re preparation and give your walls the recommended 2 coats - it works. Job done.

I have a basement which lets in water through the bricks So researched on how to stop the ingress of water. Come up with this product. Have applied two coats to the bricks and at the moment the water ingress has stopped. over the past three days we have had some biblical downpours, so will check again.some tips. make sure you stir the paint for a good while, I decanted the paint into a bigger container, to make this easier. the first time I painted I had it in a warm water bath, it helps to get the paint on the wall. I used a masonry brush, as this lets you get into the mortar. make sure the wall you are painting is clear of debris. leave for a day or two to give it a second coat. this went on easier than the first with no need for a warm water bath. all in all a good product .

A very expensive product, but worth the money in GOLD. I was given a £1,500 + quote to stripe and remove the whole complete window wall and frame. As you can see the photos before and after, "Zinsser Watertite Mould and Mildew Proof Waterproofing Paint 5L" not just mould, damp, but the horrid smell that came from the lounge room damp and not different from the Waterproofing Paint, but after a few weeks all gone!! - It was not an easy job for a 61 years old woman, apply the paint is more like glue, so better use appropriate clothing, but the results are amazing!! - "Thank you Zinsser Company, my wall looks like new, without the exorbitant expenses" -

This product has worked really well I. Our chimney! Only thing is it’s quite thin paint so definitely need a paint kettle
