I got it for Apple CarPlay but if phone moves just alittle (I use car mount) becomes disconnected. Frustrating if the plug was better built to connect like an actual lightning cable would be perfect. Also there’s no way you would be able to stretch this cable with only usb plug holding it. You would have to attach to a better spot idk g an adhesive or tie of some sort.UPDATECleaned out sprocket on on phone works perfect!!!

I was tired of having to deal with long wires when connecting my iPhone for Apple CarPlay. This seemed like a good option, but also had the flexibility to extend if I needed it to. It works great while my phone is stationary in its holder, which is where it is most of the time. However, if I move the phone for whatever reason, the connection is often times lost. Apparently the connecting end isn’t secure enough in the phone to maintain a good connection, so it doesn’t work well when the phone isn’t secure in its cradle. So, the stretching part of the cord is useless.

My initial purchase from a brand store was fraying around the end inserted into the phone. If my phone got bumped, it would disconnect from Car Play.This new one I purchased is Fantastic! It works and is thicker/built up around the end that connects to the phone. Yes it seems short with it curling that way, but there is a little space in the car adjacent to the plug so it’s not an issue with me. I’ve had it about 4-6 weeks.It’s one of my BEST purchases!

Works well. I like the cord. Can stretch it out but does not take up a lot of room in my car. I take it in to work on call too.

I've struggled to find a decent cable that wouldn't constantly disconnect from my carplay and this one was perfect. I've had to upgrade my phone now and i'm back to searching for a decent cable, I hope one day they make these for usb c phones

I was so excited to finally have a CarPlay adapter, but unfortunately this is flimsy and doesn’t stay plugged into my iPhone 14 Pro.. if there’s any jostling in the car or a bump, or j pick up my phone at a stop light, it disconnects and the music stops. I literally have to not touch it and have a smooth road for it to stay put! I tried cleaning it off and it was still slipping out.

It works good so far. All other cables I bought did not connect all the time. This works nicely with the coil cable. When you buy a cable for CarPlay, make sure it’s Apple CarPlay compatible. Especially if you own a Subaru
