Xbox One S FIFA 17 Console Bundle (1TB)

So forget all the negative reviews,, they are rubbish!!!! Ok so this is just my opinion of course but the slim is a massive upgrade on the original xbox one ( which I've owned from day one.) OK so first off the size is much smaller and the built in power supply also make it all feel a lot smaller .... it just all feels right if you understand ? It is how the xbox one was ment to have been from day one. The 4k is a bonus as well. Don't get to tide up on game loading speed because it's no slower than the previous xbox one models ... all in all its a really good buy and highly recommended.

I bought this for its capabilities as a 4K UHD Blu Ray Player as, at time of purchase, it is cheaper than the dedicated players. Being also a games console comes as a pleasant bonus. Having said that, I have spent a lot of time playing games on it as well. I'm glad I went for the 1Tb model (which I purchased as it was on offer at the time for a lower price than the 500Gb) as I am filling it up with purchased, free and XBox Live Gold games. The library of games is very good and most can be purchased through the console itself for downloading digitally (although you may get them cheaper in the shops, particularly if you don't mind used copies). There are free demos of many games (including first chapters of series) and with XBox Live Gold membership, you get free games each month and discounts as well. Many Xbox 360 games are playable and can also be purchased through the console. As for the Blu Ray playing facility, it works fine but there are some issues. The first is minor in that you have to download an app to get the player to work. The other issues are more serious. Firstly, it does not play data disks so if you rely on AVI, MP4 and similar file formats burnt to disk, they will not work on this player. Secondly, the controller and menu system is not ideal for DVD/BluRay. I don't know whether the generic remotes you can buy are compatible with it but the Xbox controller makes it very difficult to negotiate beyond ordinary playback. If you already have the original Xbox One, it is probably to worth buying this, unless you particularly want a 4K BluRay player. If not, it is probably ones of the best consoles available at the present time, along with the PS4. Please note that you do need an unlimited internet connection to get best use out of this. Even games purchased on disk often need hefty data downloads.

WOW - This is absolutely quality. So much quicker around the Xbox One Home Dashboard, general tasks are a lot quicker. So no more buffer face. The picture on games looks sharper with better quality. The design is how the first Xbox One should have been, small, streamline, you can actually fit it places without it sticking out like a sore thumb. There is no longer a power brick - thank you Microsoft, it's about time! The texture on the controller I thought would be better, but the design is cooler. Chuffed with this

This is my 3rd xbox one s order in a short period of time, brand new.(first two orders from different suppliers) They all had/have the same fault, they DO NOT connect to a fully working ethernet cable, ALL 3 of them! This must be a serious problem and i can't believe that a business like microsoft making faulty consoles for the end user to sort out. So if you like a wired xbox one s and you cannot be bothered to send it all back and wait even longer then DO NOT BUY! -5 stars to microsoft, 5 star to amazon for refunding. Please amazon, DO something about this!

The pad doesn't work

Brought this on the day of release so I've had it a couple of weeks now and overall I'm generally happy with it how ever I have had some issues that I think should be made known. Firstly the downloads are as slow as hell, you could say it's my broadband but on the xbox 360 it was pretty fast. Secondly and most notably is the fact that it cuts out often, it either shuts down completely or freezes on starting a game or simply just on the home screen. Positives way out the negatives but something that has been out for a while and labelled as new and improved version of the original xbox one you would expect it to be alot more reliable .

Great item, however my son was pleased to receive this on Christmas Day but the downside was the download game. It started downloading around 3pm and was completed the next day. Then, it took a further 1 1/2hours to set up accounts and stuff just to be able to play. We dont know if it was the content of the game or if every household in our neighbourhood were using the internet at the same time. I bought him a physical game but again he couldnt play this until the other game had downloaded. One of the upsides is the tv content and we can link my amazon prime account and watch things from there. Better quality than our old playtv via ps3.

I really liked the old Xbox one but this has outperformed it in many ways: - It has an option to use it vertically. It Can save a lot of space. - Less noisy then the old one - BETTER PERFORMANCE in games (for me it feels like plus 20-30%, on paper it is around 7-10%) and also noticable performance increase in menu - looks really good and premium - controller improved, nice color and grip - a lot smaller, no external psu - and I am using it with full hd tv, so if you fancy 4K Blu-rays or hdr games you can play both on an appropriate tv - 1 tb is the right hard drive size - great exclusives e.g. Forza series, gears of war - backward compatibility is just amazing and mature enough now so you can play the best Xbox 360 games such as red dead redemption
