Hada Labo Rohto Gokujyn Hyaluronic Acid Lotion, 170ml

A fantastic, non-greasy and easy application toner that's the ideal post-cleanser and pre-moisturiser product. I apply this day and night and it leaves the skin feeling plump, moisturised and soft. Wouldn't go without it.

This is a really great hydrating toner. It isn't fancy but it definitely works. I went without it in my skincare routine for a few weeks and I definitely noticed a difference when I wasn't using it. My skin felt less hydrated and I lost my usual glow when I wasn't using it. I only need about 2 drops of this to cover my whole face, so this bottle will last a looooooong time, making it really great value for money. I've started putting it on other parts of my body as well and it works a treat. I have dry, sensitive skin and this has definitely helped it. It is also alcohol-free which is good for those avoiding alcohol in their skincare products like I am.It is also great for hydrating my lips - if I put a layer of this on and let it soak in, then put on some lip balm to seal in the moisture it leaves my lips soft and plump for longer than when I just use balm on it's own.

A great hyaluronic acid toner for dehydrated skin. The consistency is on the thicker side and it takes a few seconds to sink in but it provides hours of hydration after it’s sealed in with moisturiser. Look out for the ‘light type’ version if you are looking for a lighter consistency for oily skin.

Seems to make your skin smooth, but I’m not sure it’s worth the hype. I use this after a light moisturiser and it’s definitely made my skin smoother than just with moisturiser. But not life changing, just ok.

Stick with it, it works but takes at least 8 weeks to see a difference. Nice thing is, once dry (try an old fashioned fan to dry it quicker) it isn't the slightest bit greasy (although maybe a bit tacky for a short while) so make-up goes on really well over it. I use the same make cream at night, and I also start with a vitamin C serum to increase the effectiveness. I thinks it's even improved my fingernails!

I've only been using this (morning and night) for about two weeks, but I've already seen a difference. My skin seems much smoother and definitely more hydrated. I've always had dry-leaning skin and tend to over-exfoliate, so my skin is occasionally dehydrated. This layers really nicely under my moisturizer and makes me feel so soft and hydrated! I literally feel like I have baby skin now!This is kind of sticky after applying, so I don't think it should be worn on its own, but should be layered under moisturizers.I haven't noticed any smell and haven't noticed any "residue" on my hands after applying.A little bit goes a long way (I only use about a dime sized amount each application) so the bottle should last quite a long time. I'm really impressed with the price, it seems to be much less expensive than drug store moisturizers/toners in my area.FYI: I also use this in homemade sheet masks. I mix a small amount with some cooled-down green tea, then soak a compressed paper face mask in the mixture. This makes my skin feel amaaazing and is a great treat :)

This product is amazing! It's like a serum more than anything, even though it says Lotion. At first I wasn't sure about it but then I realised how hydrated and dewy it made my skin. It's perfect for putting on before your moisturiser or/ and foundation
