Collins Easy Learning Handwriting Ages 7-9

I bought this handwriting book for my 7 year old son, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our home learning routine during summer holidays. The exercises are clear, well-structured, and age appropriate, helping my child practice neat handwriting while reinforcing his English skills. I love that it includes helpful questions and answers, giving both guidance and reassurance as my child works through the pages. The colourful illustrations make learning fun and engaging, and each activity gives a real sense of achievement, which keeps him motivated cos he can get distracted quit easily. Overall, this book is an excellent way to support home learning, develop good writing habits, and boost confidence. Highly recommend it for any child aged between 7–9!

This workbook has been a great help for my child’s handwriting practice at home. It’s straightforward and easy to use, which means they can work on it independently (a big plus for me as a busy parent!). What I Loved: The instructions are super clear, and the activities progress nicely from simple letter formation to joined-up writing. It’s aligned with the KS2 curriculum, so I know it’s teaching the right stuff. There’s a good variety of exercises, which keeps my child interested without feeling like it’s too repetitive. Their handwriting has definitely improved—much neater and more consistent now! A Couple of Downsides: If your child is already confident with handwriting, some sections might feel a bit too easy or repetitive. The paper is quite thin, so if your child uses markers or heavy pens, it might bleed through. it’s a really useful workbook for kids who need to sharpen their handwriting skills. It’s affordable, simple, and effective—I’d definitely recommend it for home learning!
