ABC (Usborne Wipe Clean Books): 1

As a teacher I have found this book excellent for my 18month old granddaughter, and would recommend it.

This is a nice little book with one picture per letter. It needed wipe over when it arrived but it came up lovely and clean.

I have a 3-year old son who has only ever cared about cars, action, banging and crashing. Getting him to sit still or look at anything 2-dimensional is a challenge. However he fell IN LOVE with this book from the get-go and will sit for hours and work at it all by himself. He is totally loving this book and now he knows all his letters. It's been such a success that I've also bought the 'numbers' version. He loves the fact that he can wipe out his drawings and re-draw. He loves the fact that he can write letters by following the dots. He loves searching each page to find the pictures with the same starting letter. It may sound boring but he thinks this book is fantastic and it is the most loved book he has ever had.

Fantastic way to teach your child the alphabet! Being able to write over the letters, both capital and lower case, has definitely helped them to remember and recognise the letters. Great buy to help your child.

Great book, shows upper and lower case for each letter and the full sequence at the back, my daughter is 4 and enjoys practising her letters over and over again making the next one even better as she wipes it clean again! Only downside is that some of the letters have a flick on the end of them in preparation for handwriting which can make the letters look misformed for little writers just starting out!

I am a big fan of Usborne books and these wipe clean books are a really great idea for young children to practice their new writing skills. They are bright and colourful with great illustrations. My only criticism is that once the pen has been removed from the packaging, there is nowhere to store it with the book, so it could be easily lost.

Bought this for my 4 year old who is starting school soon. She's quite advanced for her age so I'm trying to encourage her as much as I can. This is a great product, easily wiped when a mistake is made so they can start again. My daughter had hours of fun. Might be an idea to order a couple of spare pens as my daughter left the lid off hers & it dried up. Brilliant product. I'll be buying the number book too.

I love this wipe-clean series, it saves you spending a fortune on writing books which can only be used once and my son likes the novelty of being able to wipe it clean. Will be buying others in the series. Only trouble is that if you don't wipe the ink off within an hour or so it dries on and is really difficult to remove.
