Bought these as spares for a Honda 2.3hp outboard. The clips just about stay in place but very easily falls out with just the slightest tension on the cord, unlike the original Honda clip which requires more appropriate force to become unclipped. Returned for refund.

Hmm.. not sure what to say about this.These are not OEM parts (although described as originals) for my outboard (Suzuki 140 2019 model). There is a real danger of them buggering up your kill switch if you don’t use the correct part. The RYA DO NOT recommend using none OEM parts due to recorded failure.So I’m using them as emergency ‘get you home’ kill cords than actual day to day ones.I’ve got back to Suzuki for originals and will keep these as spares in the kit.

I confess I was nervous to buy this online. Spent hours "killing the cord" to be satisfied it worked. Then I turned around to pick something up, having forgotten I had the cord on my wrist and I had it work for real. I am pleased. not sure how long lasting the material will be, but I think its worth the price
