Just what I needed and didn't break the bank!
All round a good well-priced scanner, scanned in a sketch using 300dip of 1200dpi and came out nice, I had to mess with the scanner settings for my own personal preference but it was easy to do. I'm able to fit my big hardback sketchbook in it and it scans my work nice and clean! Nice and light, simple easy info sheet to follow when installing ( I'm using windows 10)

Reasonable scans but software issue
The scanner produces reasonable scans but the software provided for OCR did not function with a message coming up no longer functioning contact licensee. I have also still to work out how to vary the quality/DPI etc of the scans. I cannot say for sure but I suspect an all in one printer for the same price would produce just as good scans and of course also provide a print facility. The scanner does however power up satisfactorily via a USB lead to a printer and does not need a separate power supply.

Good for MS Windows but not if you use Linux
Linux incompatible sadly. It uses proprietary drivers for Microsoft Windows. Excellent design & concept so reluctantly had to return it. OCR worked slowly but well. Compact design with USB connector but a No-show in Linux hence 4 stars.

Good Scanner for continuous use
I am using this product for one and half year, very good performance without any complaints, worth its value

Jut what I needed
-Very good for price. -Very light. -Only runs on usb cable, no separate power cable required. -Quite noisey but not a deal breaker. -Works well for text documents. Fast on 300dpi setting. Slow from 600dpi setting. -Terrible looking software but works. Look online for help if needed. -I haven't tried photos yet.
