Belkin QODE Ultimate Lite Keyboard Case for iPad 5th Gen (2017) and iPad Air (1st Gen)

Very nice keyboard and case. I really like how the iPad snaps into the case on all sides.Previously, I had a cheaper case that only attached to the top on the iPad. It was fine until my iPad came loose, slid out, and shattered the screen. This should not happen with the Belkin Case!

It's a shame Belkin stopped production of this model because it works extremely well, its solidly built and feels good in the hand, and is beautiful to look at. This is a second / repeat purchase as the first one, used hard, very hard, since 2018, was beginning to show wear (but still functioned as new). It went everywhere for work and play.A previous commenter said this also fits an iPad Air 2 even though it is not listed as compatible. I can confirm that it does! There are NO fit issues with the .05" depth difference between the iPad Air 1 and 2.

I’ve used these Belkin keyboard/cases for years. They’re the lightest and thinnest available ... I guess that’s why they’re not particularly durable, at least in my hands. I’m giving it only one star because this last one unit working after only 6 weeks which makes it no longer returnable. Either the Bluetooth won’t pair anymore or some keys aren’t working.So long Belkin!

This is the 2nd Belkin case with keyboard that I have purchased. I purchased another one because I bought a 2nd Ipad. They are sturdy, and easy to use. The battery life is phenomenal. I use mine daily and charge about once every 3-4 months. I mostly like that you don’t have to be sitting at a desk or table to use the Belkin typewriter. The magnet holds it perfectly. The two different angles you can position your iPad on are great! I highly recommend this item. I wish they made one for the iPad Pro. I bought an IPad Pro and tried the Apple Keyboard case and Zagg keyboard case. Neither of them were as good as my Belkin Keyboard Case. I returned the keyboard cases and gave the Pro to my daughter and bought myself another Ipad and another Belkin Keyboard Case.BTW. This is the first review I have ever written.

I am returning this item due to malfunctioning keys. This particular one was obviously defective. However, the first Belkin iPad keyboardI had never skipped a beat! That is until it began to break apart and would no longer hold my iPad. But it took some pretty heavy and steady use. So I am hoping that the replacement for the defective one will arrive soon so I can continue using it as I have for some time. Now if only I did not have to expose myself to Covid to get the package returned!

This thing is perfect...typing this on with it actually. Three stars due to the fact that EVERY rubber tab will fall off within less than a few months. The usability makes up for it. Just dont expect it to stay put on a slick surface after a few months. There are metal tabs behind the rubber stoppers that act like ice skates on......wait for it.....wait for it.....ICE. Needs to be fixed and other consumers should be aware for the price of this item its a shame. Like Elmer’s glue holding a wing on a plane. At least you had the opportunity to read this prior to buying.

I’m typing this review on this keyboard, and I really like it. Bluetooth setup was easy and the battery life is excellent. I think that all keyboards have their own little quirks, but it didn’t take too long to adjust to this one, even with typing on the run in awkward positions (who ever is sitting correctly at a desk when using a tablet keyboard?). My only tiny gripe is the position of the semi-colon/colon key, just to the right of the space bar. The case itself is very sturdy - no problem with short falls off a table. It does increase the weight of the iPad, but I think that’s an excellent compromise for its utility and protection.

We have been using this keyboard case for about two weeks now and are very pleased. It was easy to set up, feels sturdy and like it is protecting our iPad, and really doesn't add much weight to the unit. Since getting this we have been using our iPad more like a computer and are very happy with that. Yes, the keyboard set up takes a bit of getting used to if you regularly type on a full size keyboard, but it didn't take me long to adapt, honestly. A great product, highly recommended, glad we chose to get this one.

Excellent quality. I had my first one for more than five years. I only replaced it because I spilled a drink on it and needed a new one.
