Worth Every Penny
This comes with a power supply so no need to buy a stupidly expensive one. This pedal is very easy to use with its presets and easy access knobs. It will satisfy the average user very quickly. If you want specific sounds (outside of the presets) that comes from having a bank of delays at the finger tips, it is easy to engineer the required delay without having to dig through layers of menus. To exhaust every combination would take a lifetime. What has surprised me most is the new lease of life it has given some of the pedals I ditched years ago. They sound so much better. I can now sound like The Edge with the echo/reverb or like the Beatles with the classic 30ms tape delay sound. Worth every penny.

A great pedal ... but with a warning ... !!
This is a stunning pedal; the sounds are beautiful, and the sheer versatility is something to be admired. The quality is also very noticeable; digital is so clean and pure, yet you are able to emulate analogue/tape quality as well. The versatility means you can use in the studio or live. As per other comments, it takes a while to get used to but after short time I had a dozen or so sounds I liked to use live - and people always comment on how nice it does sound. The warning comes regarding power supplies ... I have, for many years, used Diago power supplies and have found them to be the best available and at a very good price. However, they are "daisy-chain" supplies ... and this pedal does not like this way of doing things. As soon as I plugged it in, especially with another Strymon pedal (Mobius), I had a sound like a vacuum cleaner from my amp - bizarrely, it can be tuned for a song(??) using one of the knobs so ... ?. Therefore I have had to spend a considerable amount of money on a switched, independent supply (Voodoo Labs) to power these two pedals. Depending on the board I am using, this can either power all my pedals, or I use it alongside the Diago. I also need to point out that the supplies that came with the Strymon pedals, although looking/felling very cheap, work fine ... just a drag having one mains plug for each pedal (and a US one at that so needed an adapter here in the UK). I normally only give five-star reviews (unless someone has upset me), but felt it was worth mentioning this as it could be an issue to someone on a budget who has saved hard for what is an amazing pedal, only to find he/she may then need to spend another £150 to make it work! So, to recap ... a great pedal ... just be aware. (Aside - Voodoo Labs power supply brilliant!).

Amazing pedal and one of the best I've use. Very reliable too. However...
This is full of excellent features with a brilliant sound quality and it has the most beautiful delay sounds I've ever heard. However, I realized that after getting used to the pedal and learning to use it, I thought it sounded too quiet in the mix to the point where I was always boosting the volume to full in the settings, and it still sounded too quiet. However, the sounds are so beautiful. Another thing I can mention is the sheer diversity of the pedal. It has so many cool features, and the reverse is the best reverse I've ever used. It really is highly tweakable and the ultimate pedal for ambient soundscapes. But to me, it lacks in character sometimes and can sound too sterile and cold sometimes. The ice feature is not this. You could buy this pedal for the ice feature alone and it's worth it! What pedal can do awesome sounds like that? None. For ice, this is phenomenal. Filter is not bad and the cool record playing sounds awesome as you hear crackling sounds like a record, and this can also be mistaken for a crackling fire which is so cool. You could write a song about how crap it was that people got burned for being wrongfully accused of being witches and the crackling sounds are so awesome that they actually sound like fire.Another thing is that the pedals factory presets are ssoooo cool. My gripe with it is the order in which they come as they are digi delay then ice, then the next preset goes back to digidelay, then maybe reverse, then maybe reverse again. I would prefer if the factory presets were done the same way as the Strymon Big Sky which is my fave pedal of all time. Those preset reverb types are in order when going clockwise round the presets, instead of going back and forth to random features like the timeline delay does. So I'd recommend spending at least 20 mins changing the order of the factory presets so they are easier to change to your customised setting. Cause you might be in the studio thinking, "Id like a bit of tape delay with cool degrading sounds" and then when you go to tape delay section it takes ages to select it.So the sound quality is fantastic. I just found it too laid back in the mix for my taste. I got a different delay and sold this on eBay because Im stupid and now I want to buy another, because I'm a stupid person. However, I did buy a delay to replace my lost timeline which I'm really happy with, and it's probably he greatest delay I've ever played. It's really expensive like the timeline, and it's the Pigtronix echolution 2 ultra pro which is super awesome. So, just to sum this pedal up, it is fantastic. However I only gave it 4 stars because to me it is too sterile at times. It can have a tendency to sound like a cheap multi effects unit if you set it wrong. You need to learn about how to use it. But, that's because I really suck at using it. I think I'd like to purchase this again and give it another go, as I really miss it and when I sold it, I lost sleep for 2 days thinking "WHAT HAVE I DONE? NOOOO?" So I had some nightmares and if you do purchase this, your best keeping it. Don't end up making the same mistake I made by selling it on eBay and buying another delay. You get what you pay for. If I wasn't so lazy, I would've kept it and made use of it. But I got lazy and just thought "boo hoo. Poor me I need something more simple." Don't be stupid like me. Learn to use this pedal. I'd have given it 5 stars if used to its full potential. I'd recommend if you have a girlfriend or boyfriend or social life, sacrafice a little time with them and spend more time with this unit for a couple of weeks, then go back to normal life after you've lesrned to use it. Because you don't want to be like me. Sometimes at night, I cry when I remember the beautiful sounds that came from this pedal that could send my dog to a peaceful nights sleep... Now my dog is still awake at these times. It's a reminder you should keep this pedal.
