Coming from Nikon i always had the Nikon version of this cable. As an Pro i couldn't live without it! This Neewer cable seems to be nice and chunky and is easily longer than my outstretched arm, which is as much as anyone can hold. Quality seems great but of course at the moment it is brand new. What i used to do was connect my flashgun to the cable and then to the camera and in the hand that held the gun i also held a mini flash umbrella which had the flash bounce off it! This always produced great results at close quarters. This cable enables you to hold your flash anywhere! Love it.

Exactly what I needed for an off camera flash, cable is short enough to not get in the way when close to the camera but has a reasonable reach without stretching the coil too far.I can't comment of longevity yet but it feels pretty sturdy with no obvious weak ponits.

This appears to work properly, at least with my two Canons, transmitting the ETTL info to the off-camera Speedlite. It seems well made - time will tell - though the workable stretch will be less than the total quoted due to the coiling. There.is no trouble fitting connectors to camera or flash. My flash is not Canon, but the cable should work with any flash unit which is ETTL and Canon DSLR compatible.

Fits my Yongnuo 600 EX perfectly and securely fits to the hotshoe of my Canon 80D, with sliding lock clip. Cord is not very long but works fine for wandering around the garden doing macro, with the camera in one hand and the flash in the other. Flash fires as expected. I also checked the fitting for tripods and it connects to my Manfrotto quick release plate as one would expect. Essentially, does what I need and expected.

Solid cable looks and feels robust.Bot shoe passes all info and allow my flash off camera to zoom and adjust (canon) I see some of these on Ebay £10 cheaper but looks can be deceiving and ot be the quality of this so I am happy.

Works perfectly as advertised!I had a few issues aligning all the parts the first time but after a few uses this isn't a problem any more. I recommend giving the wire a good stretch before you set it up though, it coils really well but needs is a bit tricky to stretch once rigged up to stands and cameras etc.Great product, great price, great delivery.

One of the reasons that I bought this was because of its length, with a length of 9.8 feet I expected to be able to work with the off camera flash on a stand, however in use, while the cord may be 9.8 feet uncoiled, the coiled length is more like only 4ft and if you put any tension on the cord to extend the length the stand with the speedlite falls over. I'm sorry I didn't buy a remote trigger.

Works perfectly as described. I’m only 5’4 and this helps me with taking portraits of taller people. I keep my trigger attached and clamped with a magic arm lower on my tripod so I can see the screen

As a event/concert/wedding photographer, I rely heavily on my flash unit. Using a flip bracket allows me to keep my light centered and above my subject, and this cord is a absolute necessity when using a flip-bracket. I use to buy the one from Canon, but they're about $70 and would fail in about 6months. Zeikos made a comparable version of the Canon cable for less than 1/2 the price and would last for 2 years. Sadly Zeikos only makes them for Sony now. This cable looks and functions just like the Zeikos model. Although most parts are plastic, it is very rugged and sturdy. I used it to shoot a concert 5 days ago and worked without a hitch. I can't tell you if this will last 6months, or 2 years.. Time will tell. But for now I'm very happy with my purchase.
