Ham Stand Spain + Knife + Sharpening Steel + Ham Cover Jamonprive - The Original Ham Holder for Spanish Hams and Italian Prosciutto

Only just got round to using this to slice a full Serrano ham brought back from Spain earlier this year. The stand is very solidly constructed and easy to put together. Once assembled the ham sits solidly in place for removing the outer layers of fat and holds everything firmly for cutting ultra-thin slices of the meat. This is a solidly built ham stand - thoroughly recommended.The knife and sharpening steel are of average quality but good enough; the knife was razor sharp and usefully thin enough to get into some of the trickier parts of the leg. All in all a good piece of kit at a good price and delivered super fast.

Needed this quickly and it arrived quickly! The stand and cover looks good and does their jobs well alone these are great value for money. We struggled with the knife to cut the meat thinly, so bought another from pro cook which is fab and have found the knife which came with this is great for cake and bread - so overall we are very happy.

What a fantastic product. Ignore the ones that come free with serrano hams at low cost supermarkets. This is high quality and sturdy with a great finish. I bought this as a gift for one of my customers who has just opened a tapas bar. The chef has a full serrano sat in this on the pass between the open kitchen and the restaurant and it sets the whole place off. Knife is great quality to get those lovely thin slithers and the cover is perfect for when the kitchen is closed. I would definately recommend and would certainly buy again as a high quality gift. Perceived value is far higher than the actual cost. Well done jamonprive.

I don't understand why people rate this higher than 3 stars because even after only paying 5 pounds (having a 20 quid voucher) I would say this is not worth the price of 25 quid (at time of review). The wood is just some soft wood, I was expecting something better than what they built and not even looking at the type of wood used, its just cut and throw in the box. The holes for the screws still have bits of wood sticking out, the bottom of the stand is really rough like it wasn't even sanded, It's extremely light which makes it a pain to do any cutting as any slight movement can send it flying across the table; Its just really unpolished.The knife is really good compared to the rest but the sharper is so bad you might as well try sharpening the knife with a rock.Overall if this was sold for 15 quid I would say its perfect for the price but at this current state if your looking for high quality product I would say this is not it as it just feels extremely unfinished and unpolished.

This arrived promptly and well packaged. The stand grips the ham bone well. The knife is flexible and sharp which makes it easy to carve. The steel works well. My only criticism is with the little cover which cover the ham, in that it just sits on the top and ideally it would be nice to cover all the meat. However, as bought the stand and knife without realising there was a cover as well, this isn't really a complaint.

Wood support is OK, but knife very fragile, broken on first use.

Excellent Products! The stand looks great & is very sturdy. The knife works very well as it is flexible & makes cutting the meat an easy task. The cover also is a great addition & as well as being practical looks very well.

Good pricing and deiivery. Set it up in a sec and was able to enjoy my Jamon when i couldn't even carve a piece out of it without this Stand. And the knife!? although it looks flimsy it is so sharp ! Beware too it will cut into your thumb like into butter. So all in all a good buy. The knife sharpener also comes in handy as i couldn't have used my own on this bade.
