Great tool
I love using this to get the flavour and liquids into the cakes rather than just on too.

For injecting alcohol and flavouring in cakes is okay, but not as good as I had hoped
Better than poking a hole in Fruit cake and trying to drip booze in it with a skewer. However, I noticed some alcohol bubble out of the top of cake near neede top and I hardley used any. Then learnt there are two holes in the needle (near bottom on one side and top on opposite side). If the angle is tilted nearer top hole and top hole is closer to cake (if holding at a slight angle), then alcohol comes out of the top first. Tilt needle slightly, so liquid comes out of the hole you need. The alcohol will run out of the nearest hole, unless the hole is facing away from the the side of the needle the liquid tavels down. No instruction for attaching needle and dismantling, so had to guess. Not using it for filling donuts or basting meat.

Basting my Laminate Flooring........
If you continue reading this, you have probably watched a heap of videos about how to fill soft spot underneath laminate flooring in the UK.....So, as mentioned, I had to lay a laminate floor and missed a slight dip in the floor. Once I Had finished laying the floor, it only become apparent. Very frustrating!!!So I watched loads of videos about fixing the issue and first tried moving the sections that were an issue. However, they well and truly locked in position, and didn't want to move a mm....So the next plan was to drill a hole (which annoyed me) and pump some adhesive filler in, to fill the space. I was using No Nails to fill the gap.So I set up the syringe and squirted the grab adhesive into the tube. The needle has a side slot rather than a hole in the end. I simply bent it back and snapped the point off. The end was still round and is approximately 2-5mm diameter. I drilled a hole in a test piece first and tried the needle. I used a 2mm drill and the hole was perfect. However, I tried pushing the filler through but as it is quite dense, I found it very hard (and slow) to push it out......Frustrated, I watered the mix down slightly but was aware it may shrink when dry, and tried again.... Without going beyond the consistency I wanted, it didn't really help push it through.Panic started setting in, so I decided to remove the needle and have a clean up.... Then I noticed that the end of the syringe protruded slightly at about 2.5-3mm. This was a perfect size for the hole and had a bigger diameter internally than the needle. So I pushed down hard into the hole I made and started pushing the plunger..... Whallllllah, out came the filler at a steady speed and filled the cavity. You can hear the cavity by knocking on the top, and if it is filled and you push down slightly on the board, it should come out of the hole. I then poked the hole with the needle to remove the white filler from being flush with the top of the board. I placed a large area heavy load across the area and left it for 36 hours (quite a big soft spot). It was perfect. I then filled the hole I made (I drilled in a joint) with the same colour silicon sealant (or wood filler) as the board.............. Almost invisible, and no soft spot.As it is a grab adhesive, there won't be an issue if removing the boards as there is an underlay underneath so no chiselling at the floor!I know it is there, but no-one else can see it. I also have a spare syringe!Great buy, especially for filling soft spots in laminate floor as well as basting a chicken!

lovely lemon muffins!
I have just made the best lemon muffins with this! I filled it easily with lemon curd and then injected it in to the cakes. There are 2 holes in the needle one higher than the other which, before I got the hang of it, meant I had not put the needle in deep enough into the cake and some curd bubbled out the top of the cake. If you only have small cupcakes you have to judge it right that you don't go through the bottom but deep enough that both the needle holes are in the cake! Easy to clean and a great price for added flavour!

Waste of money!
Utterly rubbish!! Firstly the plunger does not come out so you can’t properly clean the barrel. It’s extremely difficult to attach the ‘needle’ part to the barrel. Then when I sucked up alcohol to ‘feed’ my Christmas puddings & cakes it just trickled out all over the table before I even plunged it! So I tried again & tried to keep the syringe upright but it just trickled out the top! The few I did manage to ‘inject’ into my produce just came squirting out the top & dribbled down the sides! To add insult to injury you have a minimum order of 2! Will be sending these back for a refund!
