Kingspan Watchman Remote Tank Monitor - Monitor Oil Levels via iPhone or Android app, email, or text

This monitor is good for just checking oil levels at a glance, however:For the money paid and the technology available today, I feel it could give more information as is advertised by the demo!!!*All you get is the meter reading (which takes up to 48hrs to adjust after a fill up) which seems fairly accurate.*A battery "OK" reading but no visible life bar.*An echo check.The demo shows further info: weekly or monthly usage etc, but I don't have this!If it wasn't for the lack of info as above, I would have rated it 5 stars.

This is great, I can see my oil level in actual Ltrs as well as % remaining though not convinced it's 100% acurate hence the 4 starts. what I do like about hti sis the ability to set up alerts and the app for my mobile phone, wish they had more data on the app though as it's a bit basic with just the oil levels. would like to see things like average use, estimated cost, trend graphs would be good. overall very pleased

It seems pretty accurateI’m happy to pay £30 per annum to make sure I don’t run out of oil AGAIN (holiday home)Oh and it texts / emails you once a week on your chosen day and frequencyWould give 5* if the app had more functionality

A total rip off. After one year unless you pay £30 per year (2019 price) you will get an email informing you that the device will rendered unusable and cannot be reactivated at any point in the future. I purchased this device believing that after the first year free subscription I would just stop getting the automated email but could still access the app to take a reading. It is not made clear that is not the case. So overall a very expensive solution without any information up front to inform buyers

easy to fit and set up, could do with just a little more information but it does give the required real time reading although a usage trend would have been nice to see for the price.

Total rip-off. There is no mention of a yearly registration charge in their information on the website. Neither does it tell you that the batteries will run out after 18 months and that they are not replaceable, so you will have to buy a completely new watchman! Having spoken to ‘Miriam’ (who wouldn’t give her surname by the way), on the phone today, she actually agreed with me that it was not mentioned on the website and that she felt it was a rip-off! If their employees think it is, then what does that say about their products?

Had this for just over 1 year. Stopped working. I contact customer services. Apparently I should have received an email to renew the app. Fine I think I’ll renew now and pay. Not possible. If your renewal lapses your device will no longer work according to customer service meaning you having to buy this item again. I wasn’t aware of this! I can not find an email asking me to renew. I didn’t receive any other form of contact.

Easy to install and set up. Works perfectly for monitoring my heating oil. I havent found out how to track my usage yet, but i havent scoured the website yet. Customer support was very good as well.
