Incredible product for an astounding price! Fantastic Customer Service!
If you are looking for a fantastic microphone for the best price around, then you've found the right one then! I had the Maono PD200X for a couple of years, and I loved that thing to death, so I eventually needed a new mic, so I thought I'd treat myself to a little upgrade for the podcast. However, I didn't have money for some $600 mic, but I wanted that quality so bad, and I found it for way cheaper!! I didn't realize I was getting such a great mic, that when I first turned it on, I was shocked by the clarity, the warmness, and overall tone that it produced. It's SUPER EASY to connect, USB plugged into computer, download the Maono Link, and BAM, you've got a whole equalizer for free and an intuitive way to control the settings. Don't forget the freaking cool button that lets you mix your monitoring! It functions way above my expectations, and has held up to some serious outside noise not leaking in. I have a rather untreated room, so this was crucial that it doesn't pick up emptiness and echoes. Using the settings and finding the sweet spots has really amped up the podcasts sound and even gave me a little bit of a confidence boost, knowing that I can speak easier and be picked up even better. I had one small issue with a sound that I couldn't figure out where it was coming from, and Maono Customer Service showed up like no other! They were willing to listen to every recording, and walk me through steps on how to troubleshoot and fix everything! I haven't had customer service like that, especially with anything tech, ever! I am blown away by their products, and their care for their customers! I suggest going with Maono for all your microphone needs just by this experience alone. Highly recommend, and am willing to invest in a second one in the future! Unless they come out with a new USB model by then of course!

Customer service and product are phenomenal.
I bought this as an upgrade to my Astro a50, because the mic on it sucks. But this new microphone while not being a completely budget microphone is definitely worth the money. The software is phenomenal as well. If you're like me and your beginner at using studio type microphones, then this is a great entry point with good software to get you started. I don't really do any actual studio recording, but I play a lot of games and I got tired of my microphone sound like I was FDR telling people about Pearl harbor. It's a really small and heavy duty microphone. It's made out of solid metal except for the gain knob and the screws that hold it to the mount. Other than that it's fantastic. It has some weight to it so it feels nice and premium, and overall just a fantastic microphone. The sound quality is fantastic as well especially right out of the box before you do anything with the software. I also want to take note of their amazing customer service. The one that I got originally had a issue with the USBC port, I noticed it after my cats would rub their head on it It would just start disconnecting. So I just sent them an email and they were quick to respond and quick to just issue out a whole new product to me. I received a brand new microphone two days later and this one doesn't have an issue at all. Phenomenal customer service, and a phenomenal product for the money that you're paying. I bought their low profile boom arm as well, huge fan of it and it doesn't make a lot of noise that other people can hear or that you can hear yourself.

Professional Sound and Build Quality for a Fifth of the Price
I can’t recommend this microphone enough. The sound quality is fantastic, especially when compared to microphones at a similar price point. This thing punches well above its weight class in sound quality. It has a very similar sound quality to the Shure microphones in terms of its richness and depth. It also comes with the Maono Link software, which lets you fine tune your EQ for the audio. The software even has presets to make it super simple to change the vocal profile. The software is simple to use for every level of customer. The mic comes with a heavy duty metal mic stand/plate, and when I say heavy duty, I mean it. You’ll be shocked at the weight of the stand, which is great for keeping the mic stable on a tabletop. The mic is USB and XLR compatible, and it comes with a really nice XLR and USB-C to USB-C/A cable (with swappable adapter on the end depending on your setup). The mic itself is extremely attractive and resembles the higher priced mics you see in pro studios. It is built like a tank with an all metal body that feels tough. I wouldn’t be worried about it falling over and getting damaged; it’s substantial. It also comes with a plush windscreen that does help dampen a lot of outside noise, and it deepens your voice. The mic has a physical gain knob on it to control mic volume, it has LEDs that indicate your levels and that move as you speak to warn you of clipping at high volumes. The gain knob can be pressed, which switches the gain knob over to controlling headphone volume, and another press of the knob switches to colume control over headphones and mic gain together, which is great. The other standout feature is the tap to mute button on the actual mic. It’s not a true button you press that makes a ton of noise when you press it, it’s a simple tap-to-activate button that’s super convenient when recording. This is a legit pro-quality mic for a fifth of the cost, and it delivers at every level. I was shocked at how good it sounded out the box, and even as a USB mic, this thing sounds fantastic. It is well worth it. Beyond that, their customer service is top notch. I had an issue with my headphones not receiving audio on the mic, and they are willing to help me out and replace the mic even though I’m outside of my warranty window. They say they stand by their products, and they clearly mean it. I’ll be using this mic for a long time, at least, until they come out with a new and better one 😉 This is a must get for any podcaster or voice recording artist who wants pro-quality audio at a fifth of the price. You will not regret getting this beast.

Outstanding Value for a Quality Dynamic Microphone!
The MAONO Dynamic Microphone is an impressive piece of gear, especially considering its price point. As someone who uses microphones regularly for podcasting and streaming, I’m thrilled with the performance this mic delivers. The sound quality is clear, rich, and focused, capturing my voice with excellent clarity while minimizing background noise. One of the standout features is that this mic offers both USB and XLR connectivity. This flexibility is fantastic, as it allows you to use it with a wide range of devices. Whether you’re plugging directly into your computer via USB for a quick setup or using an XLR interface for a more professional audio chain, this mic has you covered. The build quality is solid, with a sturdy design that feels durable and professional. It’s easy to set up, and the mic works well with various audio interfaces and mixers. I also appreciate that it’s versatile enough for different environments—whether I’m recording in a treated studio space or a less controlled setting, the MAONO Dynamic Microphone consistently delivers. What stands out the most is how it compares to other dynamic microphones at this price range. It holds its own against much more expensive options, making it a fantastic value for anyone looking to upgrade their audio setup without breaking the bank. Overall, if you’re in the market for a reliable, high-quality dynamic microphone with both USB and XLR options, the MAONO Dynamic Microphone is a great choice. Highly recommended!

AMAZING SOUND QUALITY AND NOISE REDUCTION
Wow! This microphone is amazing. I have purchased many microphones over time and this one has excellent heavy metal build quality. The sound quality is excellent. And one of the really pleasant surprises was how it unintentionally acts in a noise reduction manner. This type of microphone picks up sound from where you point it but I shocked at how well it avoids picking up sound from the peripheral areas. I had someone working outside my window with motorized equipment and it was super noisy and when I mentioned this to the person with whom I was speaking, they told me that they couldn't hear any of it. There are microphones out there with active noise cancellation technology that try to offset the noise but this microphone acts at a more source level to just target the intended location. They also have a utility program that lets you control the sound of your voice before it reaches your various recording programs (Zoom, Teams, etc.). I've owned the 200 and the 400 models. Both are great. This one may have the slightly more expensive sound but I actually like the hard mute button on the 200 because it is easier to toggle and know your toggle state. Having a hard toggle button would be the only thing I'd change about this microphone because it really is nice. Lastly I needed to contact support for something and they were very responsive and super supportive, trying to go above and beyond what was expected. That was refreshing.

Give this Microphone a shot!
This microphone is an incredible upgrade from my previous MAONO microphone only USB. I needed to upgrade my microphone as I was wanting something more professional, so I picked up this and man this is a great choice for a microphone. Sound Quality: The sound quality is very clear and crisp! My friends told me when being on call with them that the quality is much better and can hear me clearer. 10/10 for sound quality! Accessibility: For me I use XLR, but MAONO made it an option for USB connectivity which I think is very generous of them, especially if you don't want to spend an extra $100 for a audio interface. Not to mention for USB connectivity, you have your own gain control and mute button which I find very neat! 10/10 for accessibility. Affordability: Now the price is on the higher side than other microphones on the market, and this does really come included with the microphone arm so you'll have to buy it separately sadly unless you get the bundle. Although it has a lot of good features, it depends on how much you are wanting to spend on a microphone. Seeing the pricing going up for this microphone, it might be best to get on sale if you want to get but still worth it! 6/10 for the price. Durability: Now the build quality on this microphone is quite nice! It's made out of metal on the microphone body and it's very nicely made! It is quite heavy so depending on the microphone arm you get, it might sag the arm a bit so make sure its well secured! Although overall very nicely made and premium quality! 9/10! Conclusion: if you are trying to find a good microphone worth your money and willing to spend that extra dollars on a premium quality microphone, I suggestion giving this microphone a try! Didn't disappoint me and surprised me a lot!! - Mango from Bluified Co-Brands Holdings.

Solid build quality, usb or xlr flexibility feature, sound good, look great and substantial.
I'm not an audio or mic expert but I got these specifically because I was looking for some professional looking podcast mics that had usb or xlr options because I initially needed the USB until I got a mixer to switch to XLR. I'm not one to just get the Sure SM7B just because it's supposed to be the best sounding mic. I listen to a lot of youtubers that use a variety of mics that sound great and I don't say hmm the Sure is far superior sounding. I say ummm I can't really tell the difference with a lot of them. And even if I can, unless it's very echoey or peaking usually it doesn't take away from the video to have a cheap mic. I also watch several podcasts who use the Rode PodMic which you can get used for way under $100 and that one also sounds great. And these are big podcasts like Valuetainment. In fact, except for the fact that I wanted both USB and XLR and that I liked how these MAONO mics looked, I probably woulda gone with the Rodes. What I'm saying is that I feel like I could use these MAONO mics into the future for a professional podcast and not have to upgrade because they sound great, look professional, are are built like tanks. It's a great time to do podcasts and Youtube because there are many good cheap options and you don't need a $400 mic at all with the options out there. I recommend these MAONOs if you want the flexibility of USB and XLR. It came very useful to me when doing different kinds of videos. The usb was plug and play, and the XLR is gonna be for more professional use with mixers and multiple mics. So as you grow and when you need to upgrade... you won't have to because this mic will work for you.

Maono #1
Loved it! It fell of my desk and now the real time monitor plug wont work. But it is an insane mic. Love how you can plug directly into my s20 ultra or my s25 ultra and it works flawlessly streaming with it. Best mic for recording, streaming or just making a call using it. MAONO is and will always be my goto audio and streaming equipment

The stand is too way short
The mic is excellent for its price. I would recommend a better design for the stand it is really short and rigid, and it would be better if it were more flexible
