20pcs Crochet Hooks Set with Case

I am very impressed with these. My crochet hooks arrived quickly and they are sturdy and light. They seem to catch a bit on the yarn at the beginning, but as you work more the surface gets more smooth, so it was not really a problem. The case is not high quality as such, but it does the job and for that price is definitely worth it.

Thank you this item which arrived so quickly. good quality case carefully packaged containing a set of beautifully crafted hooks. I couldn't wait to start on a new project. I usually use the long, carved, wooden Brittany hooks however these hooks are ideal when travelling. As an author I crochet to relax after a long spell of writing. Simply looking and holding these hooks actually inspired me to write another true story. Excellent value for the money. In use the hooks invite the yarn to create something beautiful! A good buy!!

The hooks are nice to work with, however the case was broken on one side, and the hook fell out of one of the bamboo handles on first use. Easily repaired with a spot of glue however. Not bad for the price, but I wouldn't recommend it as a gift.

I wanted some cheap bamboo crochet hooks so I could sand them down to use in slip stitch crochet. Slip stitch crochet is technique in crochet using various combinations of slip stitches to create a much thinner, less holey fabric and it can also mimic knitting in some ways. In order to slip stitch more comfortably, I needed pointier hooks, thus this purchase.Roughly two weeks after I ordered them, they arrived in a neat brown envelope, posted through the letterbox. They are actually a lot better quality than I was expecting. I found them to be fairly smooth, with a lightness to them. They certainly aren't as slippery as the aluminium ones I'm used to, but they are more flexible and I found my fingers cramped up less when using the smaller sizes. The hook part is a little different to the ones I'm used to as well, it's a flat cut into the wood and some of them were a bit too rough and grabbed the yarn, but a bit of sandpaper helped smooth them down. I tried them with cotton, acrylic and yarn and found the cotton was too splitty to work well with these, I had to sometimes re-hook the yarn. If the yarn plies are fairly tight, then they would work fine.The smaller sized hooks with metal are actually really good. I was in need of the under 2mm sizes for beading and these work for that. The handle is all right, not the most comfortable hold, but better than a really tiny, bendy aluminium hook!The hook sizes are stamped in random places, I had trouble finding some of the sizes when I first looked through them, and the font is small, so you may have trouble reading them if your vision is hindered in any way, but they all came in the packet in their consecutive sizes, so if you put them back in the same place each time, you could mark the sizes on the pockets in sharpie?The bag they came in looks pretty cheap, but it is functional. There are a few threads here and there that are coming out, the plastic is a bit cheap feeling, which I expected. The zip feels kind of flimsy, I doubt it would last many unzips and re-zips, but I didn't buy these for the bag.I wouldn't give these as a gift to someone experienced, but maybe as a cheap set for a child or someone who is a beginner but doesn't know if they'll enjoy crochet. For under a fiver, they are a useful range of sizes and good value for money.

Really good value for money! arrived the next day in good condition. I have to agree with another reviewer of these that the thinner hooks with the handles are brilliant. I am getting older and the comfort level for me was really pleasing. The larger hooks are fine too. I've used two of these, (one was a little snaggy) and have found that one smoothed out with use. Really good for the price paid!

Arrived promptly. These hooks are great! They are smooth so that they do not catch on yarns and are also pleasant to use in the hand. I really liked the range of sizes included too. The starage case looks far better than I had expected. Recommend seller and hooks.

Good quality hooks for a very affordable price. They are comfy to hold and use. Each has the size written on the handle (the numbers are quite small though). The case is average quality but I can't expect more for the price I paid and it has so far stopped me losing any!

Je suis très contente de ce produit. Je suis débutante dans le crochet mais apprécie largement son rapport nombre de crochet/prix.Niveau qualité, je suis plutôt satisfaite. Seul bémol sur le crochet de 3 en bois qui s'est cassé a la première maille serrée (enfin, si il n'y a que celui la a racheter c'est pas très grave, et je n'ai pas vu d'autre commentaire de ce type, probablement un problème isolé)

they are simple, and great quality. When my friends (who also crochet) see them they are amazed by the little pouch and such a nice feel. They are much less expensive than in a store and they are sturdy. None of them has broken or snagged any yarn. They have a smooth varnish coating and are comfortable to handle. I have had them for many months of use and the little pouch has not deteriorated from use. The zipper still works very well has not broken, the little plastic separators are not cracking either. I would recommend to my friends.

This is the second time I have purchased this product. One for me and one as a gift for a friend. I am an avid crocheter and I love how sturdy these hooks are. I was impressed with the case they came in, while you do not get a choice of colors on the case, it has held up very well over time.I first purchased this for myself a year ago, I wanted something that could travel well and contain my hooks without losing anything. This product delivered and then some. After a year of camping throughout North America, I have not lost a single hook, the zipper has never had an issue and it still looks brand new.It was the sturdiness of this product that made me want to buy another one as a Christmas gift for my friend.I would 100% recommend this product for anyone interested in crochet.

Desde que los recibí, hace ya un par de meses, los he usado muchísimo, tanto los de bambú como los metálicos con el mango ergonómico.Grosores habituales muy prácticos.Nunca he gastado un dineral en agujas de crochet, y después de probar éstas, creo que seguiré comprando agujas de este estilo.
