This worked well. I think the individuals leaving negative reviews either expected miracles or did not persevere. This does not work like magic but it does work. You need to use this in conjunction with a scraper in order to remove the glue bit by bit. I had a 2x2cm cyanoacrylate super glue blob on my finished wood kitchen table. I spread a layer of the de bonder over the glue and waited for 5-10 mins, then used a plastic scraper to remove a layer of glue, then wiped off the residue and repeated this a few times before it fully came off. It is not magic, it can only remove a small layer at a time. All in all, took about 30 mins to remove. As it says, make sure to test the de bonder on an inconspicuous part of the surface first. I used this on finished oak and when left on for ten minutes you see a really slight discolouration, so don’t leave it on any longer than it needs to be left on. Take it slowly, bit by bit.

I used this on superglue dropped onto a large area on kitchen tiles. It removed it no problem. Left it on the surface for 30 seconds then wiped it off with a cloth and then wiped the area again with a hot cloth. Delighted with the results.

Works most of the time. I'm always getting superglue on my fingers and I hate the feeling of it that I can't stop scrubbing and picking until it's gone, which is why I got this. I have found that just putting it on and leaving it for 30 seconds like suggested, it does get rid of the glue but you may need to apply more than once. This hasn't worked very reliably on surfaces for me though, say you get a drop on your desk and haven't noticed it until it's already dried (a few hours later, or longer) then it doesn't get rid of it. I'm not sure if it's supposed to, though. If you do it immediately or pretty soon afterwards though, it does at least reduce the residue of it even if it doesn't get rid of the whole lump of glue.

Fantastic I had 3 patches of superglue on my silstpne work top followed the instructions snd nothing happened . Covered the patches again and left it for a few hours . Went back and the superglue just wiped off

Disappointed dosnt work

Unexpectedly did the job despite spilling superglue 2 weeks ago. I spilt some superglue on some interior car trim. It's been a couple of weeks since this happened and I thought I might as well give this a go before buying replacement trim. It did the job and got rid of all the superglue including some rather thick pieces! It did take several applications but which each one the glue kept getting sparser and sparser. Very pleased and has saved me a fair bit of money.

Tried to un glue item of my son’s, a plastic item, but this solution did not ‘do as it said on the tin’ .. didn’t even remove glue marks, let alone unstick it. Highly questioning the product itself, as seems no better than water… very disappointing.

I used this to unstick something that was incorrectly stuck together and it worked fantastically. 100% will buy again if I need to unstick something else in the future.
