Great product. Flow rate as expected is slower than the full size Sawyer, but that has to be expected. Worth it in my opinion for the smaller size.

TL:DR - Great! Lightweight, practical and easy to use!I've tried loads of different solutions to the problem of water when out hiking and camping. The main issue is how heavy water is to carry. Every litre is an extra kilo of weight in your backpack, but not carrying or drinking enough water means you'll be dehydrated in no time, and the more dehydrated you get, the harder it is to carry heavy loads... It's a downward spiral, and balancing the amount of water I carried to my needs has always annoyed me...To this end a couple of years ago I started experimenting with different methods of filtration, so that I could collect water while out and about without risking spending 12 hours in a grotty bush emptying the contents of my bowels into a miserable cat hole while screaming...I tried filter bottles, and while these were good, I found they were limited in capacity, and often had replaceable filters which cost a fortune every 3 months or so...I tried the pumps with a filter in them, but these were comparatively bulky to carry...Enter the Sawyer mini! It's great! Really small and compact to carry, and you can fill a 2 litre water bladder in a few minutes with the minimum of fuss... I really like this, and now carry it everywhere with me! It's absolutely the best compromise between a filter bottle and a filter pump, and I recommend them regularly to people I talk to! :-)

Sawyer is just good stuff! And so is this one! Very easy and reliable to use and easy to rinse and clean!! But all Newcomers to the outdoors: Keep always in mind that this type of filters will and can NOT clean water from any kind of Viruses or Sewage infested waters or chemically contaminated waters!!! Nevertheless, enjoy your time outdoors and this useful little gadget!!!

I like the filter. It's small, compact and light. My concern is attaching a plastic bottle to the filter. I live in England and two water bottles here did not fit. Have I missed something? I intend to use the filter for some months in India and wonder if plastic water bottles there will fit. Is there an adaptor? Did I buy the wrong filter? Any help will be appreciated.

Great bit of kit for saving on backpack weight. Find a stream or pond and fill up your empty bottles when you need water.As with most filters, viruses are not removed however, so I also add a sterilising tablet (or boil) if I am really unsure of the water quality.Filtering really dirty water does clog the filter so you need to carry the syringe also.I am very satisfied with the product. It is simple, effective and very light weight.

I purchased this SAWYER item MONTHS ago, But now I have had used it SEVERAL times when visiting the Lochs, Streams, AS I SAID. Excellent, Reliable, Don't Leave Home Without it.

Best value filter on the market. Easily modified to become a gravity filter. Can be used in conjunction with PET bottles & sodis method to kill viruses to make a complete, cheap & lightweight all purpose filter. Maintainance is simple and aside from heavy metals and chemicals (which require a purifier rather than a filter) this is as good as it gets.

Came in the box instead plastic but I don't mind... Hopfully it is the same stuff 🤞Haven't checked yet but soon... I will... It would be fine if they would supply small meshish bag to keep all parts together...
