Firstly the cup is very light! you will not realise that you are holding it. The problem lays with the small handles (only tested with man size hands). I would have liked a slightly bigger cup and bigger handles. The metal is very thin but strong however as a consequence the heat is lost very quickly from cup contents. The cup also has lost its shine after limited use. The cost of the product is a little high and on reflection is was probably personally taken in by the name and the 'need' to keep my utensils matching my cooker and MSR saucepans. Although the cup actually fits within the titan 1-ltr kettle I personally use this space to store the pan handles, teabags, sugar etc. Perhaps a better buy would have been a cup with inbuilt jubilee clip to attached to the outside of my pack. UPDATE - Oct 2016 I have now had this cup for 2 years+ and still going strong so increased te rating to 4 stars- ideal if cost no issue.

In fairness to the other reviewers, it is a mug and there's not a lot that can be said about it but it is very, very strong, incredibly light weight and very rugged. The handles fold away perfectly into the body of the mug, the size is ideal for my MSR MicroRocket Stove, MSR Universal Canister Stand, FireSteel and microfiber cloth. As per Mr Hudson's review below, everything tastes a lot better from these rather than from a plastic beaker. Well, its a mug so there's not much you can say about it really. Its light weight, easy to pack and durable, which is basically why it exists. I took it on a month-long bike trip through arctic norway and it worked perfectly. Wouldn't recommend it for family camping trips because you'd do better to save your cash and just use a cheap set of plastic mugs. But for long hikes and where every ounce counts, you'd be hard pushed to find anything better.

Very light, super robust. Only problem is that the titanium conducts so well, so hot drinks cool quickly, and perversely cup too hot to hold without using the handle, so hands not warmed!

Used this on the hills, with its matching Titan Kettle. I am planning on insulating the handles, but only as a precaution. I think this is a fantastic product.

Super lightweight mug. Can be very hot on the lips if filled with boiling water. To avoid this just fill it to 2/3 or 3/4 and its fine.

Expensive, not really needed to be totally honest but I love it.

Just the best ultralight, ultra strong cup for hiking, backpacking, mountaineering and just about any other activity where weight and durability are important.
