Ranger RUB09863 Foam Backed Scrubby, black

This is great for cleaning ink off stamps, I just put water on the rough side and it stays wet for ages. When you've finished with your stamp just rub it on the wet pad and wipe off with a cloth or kitchen roll, no need for stamp cleaners. When you've finished work just rinse off the mat under a tap.

I use this with gilding flakes and it works really well for that

Bought this at the same time as the "Ranger 4 oz Spray Stamp Cleaner, Clear", and between the two of these, my stamps have never been cleaner! I used to line up all my used stamps with a view to cleaning them when I'd finished - and then promptly forgot to do so :(. Now, I have this next to me on the table, and as soon as I've finished with a stamp, I give it a quick squirt with the spray, scrub it on the scrubber and that's it - job done! Brilliant, one happy stamper here! :)

This isn't a bad item but if I were to be asked if I would purchase it again I would probably have to say no. Really it is just a large scouring pad stuck on a thick foam. It does help to clean my stamps a bit but not a lot, and I find I have to clean it after a few stamps otherwise it just starts spreading the ink onto the stamps rather than cleaning it off!! It wasn't a terrible price and some of you may find it more helpful than I do but I don't love it.

This scrubby tool does a pretty good job of cleaning stamps off but them I have to use some lint free cloth to finish the job. It would be great if it was either half-and-half or came with a companion drying product to remove the last traces of ink and dry the stamps.
