Had some cheap LED headtorches in the past that wouldn't light up more than 30cm in front of you so didn't have high expectations for this. Wanted a cheap headtorch for camping but didn't want to spend too much considering I wouldn't get much use out of it.When I received this, I was pleasantly surprised how bright it was. Could see clearly and far enough that made walking at night safer and easier. Has a red light function as well so can double as a front or rear bike light. The red light is also bright enough to see in darkness without disturbing anyone .It's fairly lightweight but still noticeable so couldn't wear it all night, not that I'd want to anyhow. The headstrap doesn't have the strap going over the top of your head, just the band around the side. The band is elastic and adjustable enough that you can get it to fit securely on your head without too much discomfort but you do start to feel pressure around the temples after extended periods.Not the best but definitely good for the money and will last me a while. Recommended for the occasional user.

For £7 this head torch is awesome! Battery life could be long but you can buy longer lasting batteries that helps! Its also super bright for its size and price, morenl than your moneys worth! Red reading light is good also. And works well in the rain.I've been a survival skills instructor for the last 2 years and I haven't had to switch head torches until recently. It stopped working due to dropping it from a hight!Obviously one of those proper USB charging head torches are the best but I'll definitely buy again and have it in a bug out bag or for quick access!Cant go wrong with it, good as backup.

For the price this head torch is perfect. The light is really powerful and I like the fact that the red settings are in a different place from the white so you don't have to cycle through all the settings to get to the red one! I'd say this lets out a better light than my Petzl and it looks quite sturdy. Haven't used it for too long yet so we shall see but overall very pleased.Only caveat is that I didn't get a micro USB cable included when it said I should have one on the box, not a problem for me as I'd be using batteries for it anyway and wouldn't have the convenience of a micro USB but maybe something to look into.

Maybe I'm being stupid but I wasn't expecting it to have a motion sensor activated function. You press the left of the buttons, which are luminous, and wave in front of the light and it turns on. I can't seem to get the red light to work but maybe that's me being stupid again or maybe it's the Engrish instructions.In any event, the torch is bright, charges quickly, is robust and is comfortable to wear. It comes with a short micro USB cord; I found it long enough to go from a wall socket to my kitchen worktop though.Apart from the main beam functions I doubt the other features will be used but it was a great purchase nonetheless.Recommended.

i purchased this to replace an old one i had. the led's are super bright. The lamp also has red led's which are great because they don't interfere with night vision. The lamp requires 3 x AAA batteries, it only comes with 2 so have a spare ready. All in all i'm very pleased with this product great price too.

The main white light is about what you would expect for this price, not hugely bright but sufficient for personal use when moving around at night. The red LED's are quite unimpressive, they work but we are talking close up stuff like reading. Relying on the red LED's to light your way at night isn't something I would suggest.

I searched around all over to find a headlight which had a dim red light for using with my telescope. All the lights seemed to say the red lights are bright which you don't want for astronomy! For me this red light is ideal. Until your eyes have adjusted it is really low - perfect. I have not had a really dark night to try it in yet, but think it will be fine, and I can always cover the red light partially with tape. The white light is good and really bright enough for anything I can think of.

Used this on a camping trip. The first one I ordered the red light did not work so I'm having to return that one but I ordered a second one and it works perfectly. Both lights are good and the strap is good quality. Really good quality for the price.
