I wet my face with a shaving brush dipped in hot water, then just rub the round block of soap over my skin once, followed by working up a lather with the brush (after immersing the bristles in hot water again).The lather gives a really good shave and easily rinses off, unlike some creams containing sodium lauryl sulphate, trietholamine and other chemicals, which need a lot of rinsing to remove a persistent sliminess.I am really pleased to have found a shaving soap that gives a good shave, does not contain a lot of dubious chemicals and looks like it will last a very long time.
