They never last and the colours aren't great. I remember when I was school that Berol ...
I have a young daughter and over the years, I've bought her felt tip pens from all types of places - although, to be honest, it's normally a pack of 10 for a pound or something. They never last and the colours aren't great. I remember when I was school that Berol was always the felt tip of choice so when I saw these, I thought she probably deserved the best - especially as she is heading to junior school in September and I don't want her colouring in to suffer! For anyone else looking to buy these, do note that although there are 42 pens in the pack, there are only 12 different colours to choose from. There are 2 or 3 pens that are the same colour. It's the most common - almost primary colours where there are 3 - e.g. red, blue, emerald green, yellow, black. Everything else will have 2. But, as expected the quality is awesome and the price is good.

Best pens
I have been using this type of pen since I was in school. I love them. They are not too thick or thin just in the middle which is good. They are very easy to use. Comfortable to hold which allows you to have a continuous flow of colour. Sometimes the tip bobbles but it only takes a wipe with cloth to get it back to its best performance. Overall highly recommend

Restricted colours
These are a great make, and in a handy container. However, I'm disappointed in the variety of colours. There are more dark colours than lighter or brighter colours. These were bought as a 4th birthday gift for a lovely little girl who likes to write, but I'm not sure these colours will attract her as much as I'd hoped. 4 x black, 4 x dark brown, 4 grey, 2 pink, 3 yellow etc.

FANTASTIC
These were a purchase for my 2 young sons (3.5 and 17 months) A nice selection of colours and you also get a few of the same colour - perfect for if the boys don't want to give up a particular colour - They are very chunky and durable; the nibs are very chunky too and can withstand the relevant amount of flack that 2 young boys will inflict upon them. The storage container is very sturdy and we just retained this to store the pens in. I love these pens and will certainly purchase again in the future. my eldest boy's pen grip has significantly improved using these felt tips and I am happy that they come off skin and out of clothes very easily. fantastic purchase

A friend had these pens, and I loved to use them, so I decided to get my own. The colour is bright- they're such good quality. The only problem I have with them is that the black writing on the outside of the pen has completely come away, but that's okay because 1) it doesn't affect the pen's working abilities and 2) I can tell which pens are mine. I've had them for a year now. I'm missing the light blue, and my red is starting to run out. However I use them on a school work basis and how do I know you'll love them? Everybody always wants to use my pens when working. They're definitely worth the money.

Great pens
Bought these for my 4 & 5 year old that love colouring. The pens are great, they last a long time and are lovely quality. There is around 4 of each colour pens in the pot which is perfect for children so they can each use the same colour! Stops any arguments on who is using the blue first haha. Make sure you keep an eye on price because the price has been fluctuating a huge amount. I think around £10 is what I paid and that seemed reasonable, anymore and I don’t think so. I hope this helps
