Seymour Duncan Woody HC™ (SA-3HC) Hum Cancelling Acoustic Guitar Pickup - Maple

Love it! Really pleased with this pick up. Got fed up with active pickups as the batteries always seem to go flat when you need them, so decided to go for this. The sound is true to the guitar and really well balanced over the strings, however did have to tweak the amp voloume up slightly. I had previously bought a pick up twice the price (battery powered) that I could never get the sound right, even though it was a well respected quality product. It was always too bassy or too toppy, but this isn't. There is no noise background hiss or noise, just a good, clean and fabulous sound that reflects the tonality of the guitar.

Easy to fit in soundhole.I wanted a pickup that was easier to fit than under saddle.This fits the bill perfectly.Great sound reproduction.

After reading various reviews for pick ups for acoustic I took a punt on this one. I am actually a bass player who does the occasional open mic with a couple of singers and needed a decent pick up for my six string. I was a little dubious about the hum free statement but lo and behold, it works a treat.So far that is. It arrived up on time, well packaged and only slightly fiddly to fit so no complaints yet. So far. I have only had it plugged in at home as having been ill and spent three months in hospital and a full six months being poorly I have not had a chance to test it fully out in a public situation. Once I do, if it is as good as it has been when testing it at home I will change the rating to a 5 instead of a 4, but so far so good.Additional note........Have been using it for months now. The only drawback being lack of a volume control for it, which is a minor quibble, but otherwise very happy with my purchase. Value for money 🙂

Easy to fit and excellent quality.

makes my acoustic 12 string sound like a dream , very nice , very happy my only slight gripe would be that the cable and plug do not detach so every time I put the guitar down or hang it up I have to wind cable and store in place or remove the whole pick up , still , I'm really loving ,sound quality and built in preamp are lovely

I recently purchased this based on the reviews by magiazines such as Total Guitar etc as the reviews on here were not realyl convincing.I use a 39 year old Eko acoustic and I popped this straight in to the sound hole, plugged it into my Line 6 UX! and started recording straight away. The sound is clear and perfect. I have finally found a superbly priced soundhole pick-up that I can use for recording that doesn't need somebody to have the hearing of a dog to listen to it.I have also plugged it into a Laney amp and a PA system and it is just as clear.Great product at a great price.

The thing doesn't stop humming!

This is a great product. I have found the sound quality is good enough for the price. Only one minor drawback for me is that the cable is too long for using with a radio transmitter pack and I need to use an adaptor to take it to an 1/8th jack and it is a little short if plugging straight into an amp when doing live work. So long as you are aware of this, I would recommend.

Nice to pull it out of the bag, drop it in the sound hole, plug in and run.

Added to my Martin Guitar and I am super happy with it. Very warm sounding ( Not tinny at all ). My only suggestion would be if the cord had a female end and it attached to the strap attachment and a volume and tone control. But for the price Im super happy with it.

Compré esta pastilla sin estar muy convencido, pero ahora me doy cuenta de que es una excelente adquisición, el precio es contenido, es una pastilla de doble bobinado (no hace ruido) y se quita y pone en un segundo.Es la mejor opción para electrificar una guitarra acústica y el resultado es mejor de lo esperado, eso si mejor conectar a un amplificador de acústica, yo la conecto a un Roland AC 60 y suena perfecta, sin parásitos y bastante natural.Me falta probarla con una caja de inyección para conectarme directamente a la mesa a ver que tal.Recomiendo su compra, seguro que las hay mejores pero a este precio lo dudo.
