The adjustable razor concept is novel and that too coming from an Indian company is great. The product delivers as committed. Try with multiple blade brands and adjustable setting on the razor for the right shaving experience. The Willys blades that come along are also good. Recommend.

I have been doing wet shave since 5 years and I regularly use my Gillette Super Adjustable 109 from the year 1975 which was passed on to me by my father.I really liked the feel and efficiency of the Pearl Flexi Open Comb Razor the moment I started using it. I have heard that earlier models had some alignment issues and the manufacturer was very prompt in replacing them. But all that seems to be sorted now. No alignment issues, no rattling of internals when shaking, adjustment seems to work perfectly.I use 7 O' Clock Super Platinum with Proraso Shaving Soap and the results are very good. Very little razor burn, good glide and slick. I did 2 passes and did not feel the need for a 3rd pass. I started with blade adjustment 3 and later cranked it up to 5 and this range seems to work fine for me. I did 4 shaves on a single DE blade and it looks good for another pass. Received 55 pieces of Willy's DE blades with the package, but I have not tried it yet.Overall this is one of the best Safety Razors that can be bought in India and can give a lot of more expensive international razors a run for their money. It is definitely on the heavier side, but definitely adds to the feel.

The Pearl Flexi is a good razor. I had a smooth and comfortable shave in the first setting. It was quite satisfactory. However, the only downside to this razor is that it is quite heavy and may not be suitable for everyone. This is certainly not a beginner's razor due to it's build and heft. It is best suited for people who have at least 1 year of experience in wet shaving with safety razors. Nevertheless, you can experience good smooth and close shaves with this razor

New updateI have observed a play in the lower safety plate. Also sent it for checking. But the issues were not resolved. Now getting razor burns.Old reviewThere is a long debate on asymmetrical clearances. But the company has resolved the issue. Still, I feel it on sharpblades like feathers.My first shave was with willies blades provided with the razor. I was ok, ok. Then tried a sampler from glowshine.in. It has 15 brands of blades. Tried few of themthere I found my peace of mind in RK Ultraman. It's cheap and one shave wonder.My Adjustment from 2-4 depending upon mood and sensitivity.The built quality is spectacular. I have quite a few razors collected during my wet shaving journey. Some are inexpensive, like Gillette Sterling and expensive ones like Henson AL13. Pearl Flexi is my first adjustable razor and was not sure what to expect from this.Based on many reviews online, I knew it is a high-quality razor but didn't expect it this well built. The razor has very good ergonomics and weight. Compared to my AL13, this is heavy razor which needs no pressure to apply.Feels very smooth and the adjustability makes it a perfect tool. Earlier I had different categories of razor, mild and medium aggressive. Based on different aggressiveness, I used to decide which blade will work better. This razor just makes you forget all those rules. :)Thank you Pearl for making such a high-quality razor for the world in India. Super proud.

Well made razor and gives a feeling of old time. However, the razor is not fast and safe to use. I was trying on 1.5 and it gives nicks under nose and under ears. I felt that alignment is better in plastic gillette made razor which is used daily and is fast. Moreover i did not get close shaves.This is more for luxury and weekend shaves. It can be kept for 20 years or more and has a long life due to metallic construction.

Got this product delivered on 01 march 2023 (A one day earlier than the date mentioned) . Opened it immediately and found the product is too awesome (lookwise). Used it for the first time just on level one on 07 march 2023 (that is today ). I am not a beginner though , but I do have sensitive skin . So went with level one ..what to say ! it’s so smooth that I haven’t felt blade on my skin at all but it cut my beard like some aggressive open comb razor. So neat ! Very much impressed ! Even the blades supplied SILVERMAX ,they are good too. This is my 3rd product BTW ,Thank you very much Pearl, keep Rocking !
