Busy Nativity: A Push, Pull, Slide Book – the perfect Christmas gift for toddlers! (Campbell Busy Books, 22)

I like all the Busy books, nice simple pictures with interacting flaps and sliders. Suitable from 1 year old up to at least 4years. My grandchildren love them.

I bought this book for my 5yr old grandchild who can now read, it is an excellent book to teach young children about the birth of Jesus.... She absolutely loves it because not only can she readit quite easily, but it is also interactive by moving small parts of the pictures it changes the scene... I would highly recommend this book....

Nice to have a nativity book in which Mary isn't blonde and white! Interesting illustrations and my toddler loves to sit on my lap and play with this book. He was 10 months this Christmas and I think we'd get at least another 2 Christmases out of it before it starts to seem babyish. Honestly, if you want one high quality crowd pleasing nativity book that gets the nativity story across, this is the one. However, we decided on both this one and The Christmas Baby, which has gorgeous art and a beautiful and moving message. But you can guess which one my toddler enjoys more...

a lovely book for young children to learn about the real Christmas story. my kid particularly likes rocking baby Jesus.

It's good as expected. I'm just not sure what the wow in all other reviews is for "busy" books overall - it's just interactive books, always the same techniques in every book (slide, the wheel, pulling tab etc). The kids get bored soon. There are much better Christmas interactive books on the market eg My very first Christmas Usborne with touchy-feely, sounds and flaps.

I bought this book for my 20-month old granddaughter and she loved it from the moment she set eyes on it. The pictures are colourful and appealing and the various animations are just lovely. This is a great book and a very good purchase.

This is the 2nd year I have bought this book. Our baby Grandson loved it so much last year that it got too much use and he managed to prise open a few parts of the book that weren't supposed to be open. I have bought it again this year so he can love it all over again.
